So I used this in an attic to hook up a Ubiquiti Lite 6 WiFi access point. It works ok with POE and has gigabit speeds. It’s cheap, thin, and had I known how thin it was, I likely would have purchased something else. If it’s hidden or out of the way of traffic, I am sure it’s fine, but if its in an are where its moved a lot or can get stepped on, it’s too thin and wouldn’t last.

Works great. The cable is thin, which is unusual for me but it still works just fine. 50FT was enough to run the cable through my whole 800sqft apt, but I do wish I had been able to find a 100ft one to have a little more slack. If you have a big place and have to run a cable through the whole house, I would try to find a 100ft first. but for the price ($5.50), I really can't complain.

I ordered these cables to connect my TV and AV system to the internet. The cables are thin, but it's good enough for my purpose. The cables go around the room and connect to the Netgear 16 port router.So far, no drop connection or any other issue. I hope they will last few years.

I connected my router ethernet port to the port on my printer when the wi-fi on the printer apparently failed (I was wrong but that's something else). The connection went well and with a few details worked out the printer became usable again.

This cable is perfect. It's just a simple cat 5e cable, but it works and so I am pleased. If you have a ridiculously long distance from your ethernet port to your device, then this will work for you. I have AT&T fiber at 1000mbps and all 1000 mbps end up making it downstream to my device.

This cable is not made from the same construction as you would see in higher quality cables. This cable is much thinner, flexible and made very cheaply as compared to what I deem a normal Ethernet patch cable would be. Plastic jacket on the wire is very thin and flexible and in my opinion will not hold up to any kind of mild abuse over the test of time. That being said, the cable did test OK and does work. If you are looking for a CAT5e cable at the cheapest price and using this for home use where it will not be subject to any kind of abuse, then I would say you will be fine. The advantages would be that the cable is somewhat thinner than a commercial patch cable and would be easier to run around baseboards etc. If you are in a commercial environment, I would not recommend this cable and go with something much higher grade as it may not last that long over the test of time if subject to any kinds of abuse. When I say abuse, I'm taking about a cable on the floor under a desk where someones feet constantly come in contact with it, or it gets pulled accidentally repeatedly or run over by a chair or something heavy sits on it or crimps it. Not that any of what I mentioned should be done to any cable, but let's face it, these things happen.So there you have it. It works, it's made cheap, it costs much less than more expensive cables. Recommend for cheap home use. Do not recommend for Commercial or Business environments. If the construction was better, would have given (5) Stars. Govern yourself accordingly.

If you are going to attach connectors manually be prepared to spend time to get the wires entered in the right order.The wires are so thin that two wires can get into the same hole of the connected.Not easy to hold the wires straight during connector attachment as well.
