Artiva USA Jellyfish 89" Brushed Steel LED Arched Floor lamp with Dimmer

I spent months looking for a floor lamp and almost didn’t purchase this one based on some of the reviews. I am so glad I took a chance! The base is super heavy and it doesn’t need to be held down or propped against furniture like so many other floor lamps. The brushed finish looks great and helps repels fingerprints. I thought the light shades were going to be glass, so I was surprised to see that they are actually made from some type of stretchy fabric wrapped around wire cages. It doesn’t sound attractive, but it looks stunning when put together. We have received so many compliments on it. It really looks like a high-end, very trendy lamp. Two of the specialty dinner lightbulbs didn’t work when it arrived and Amazon issued a partial credit right away to compensate so we didn’t have to mail the entire lamp back. If you are on the fence about purchasing this lamp, I encourage you to buy it! We love ours!

Generally Well constructed, quality materials used, but structural engineering lacks. The arms can bend/rotate for adjustment which is nice. It’s a super cool fixture, but you need to remember that it’s pretty big. I have an 8’ ceiling and had to get used to it in my space. The base was bent in 2 places when I got it, but repackaging it would have been a nightmare, and I decided to live with it. The one downfall, that seems SO common with floor lamps, is that it wants to tip over in the direction of the heads. You can see in my picture that it is tight to the back of my couch. If it wasn’t, it would fall over. Probably should have been a deal breaker for me, but I just love the darn thing. I get SO many compliments on it, and it looks awesome at night from the street. Anyway, if someone on the couch is overly expressive with their arms/body while telling a story, the vertical post jiggles and with it the heads. As I write this review, I’m second guessing keeping it, but again, it’s just SO cool! The jellies are cloth pieces wrapped around a wire, they are not plastic, which I thought when I ordered it. It’s just SO cool!

Gorgeous lamp! Easy to put together and a real stunner. Not obtrusive at all even though its very much on the larger size. Dimmer works great too.

We like the lamp but had to make alterations. First, when screwing the pole onto the base, the screw came through the base over 1/2 inch too far which means the floor would be scratched and the base would not sit level. Hubby got a hacksaw and cut off the excess screw part so it would be up in the hole and the floor wouldn’t be damage and the light wouldn’t sit lop-sided. Then we put the arms into the top of the pole but the screw that would keep the arms from coming out of pole did NOT line up! We are putting this behind the bed so I hope the excess weigh of the heavy lights doesn’t cause the arms to come out of the pole and if they do come out...hopefully we won’t be in the bed!
