In all honesty I chose this product because it was cost efficient. After reviewing the specifications of the Dayton the similarities were very close so I took the gamble and so far my choice has paid off. I put a toggle switch so I can use the low and high settings depending on my needs. I made my own Laminar flow hood with a 12" x 24"x 12" hepa filter and a basic pre filter for the airflow intake. I use my motor for mycology work and so far there has been no contamination. Hopefully I will buy a Dayton soon to be able to give a proper comparison.

Does the job, wiring it was simple, installing it was simple too. Solid unit. Time will tell but for now it's good.

It’s a sturdy blower, and it throws a lot of air. Only downside was the blade isn’t perfectly centered, but it’s really not noticeable when it’s running. The rubber motor mounts do the trick. Overall, I’d recommend the product Edit: I pressed the blade over a little to correct the Imbalance, and it doesn’t rattle anymore.

This unit came in good shape. But what everyone needs to know is the high setting is about 300 cfm

Works perfectly with the accompanying hepa filter as a flow hood.

Product was bent terribly when it arrived at my house even though packaging was fine. Not all screws were firmly secured.
