1999-2004 Mustang and Cobra Convertible Top Hydraulic Cylinders Lift Arms Pair

These are larger diameter than the original rams, and as a result the top moves a bit more gradual. It has to pump a larger volume of fluid to yield the same movement.Overall they work well. They don't leak. They were reasonably easy to install. I just wish the descriptions were detailed enough to know they were fatter. I would have kept shopping for smaller rams.

The add said they are larger so they will be faster. They are a bit larger but they are slower. They work fine and fit fine but are a bit slower. Not a big problem as long as they last.

this guy's were not the cheapest but worth the price. they work great and much better than original. super easy to install been 1yr and no issue's

The piston inside might be steel but the body isn’t. Unless they sent me the wrong ones. Pistons work well though.

Just what was needed.

Installed these myself after watching YT videos. Not too difficult, just take your time with the fittings. I thought I cross threaded one, but it ended up just fine. My biggest problem was getting the fluid in, cycle, fill more, cycle, etc. Took several times to get the system bled, but everything works great.Top goes up and down slower than original cylinders. These are larger in diameter than the originals, so more fluid has to be moved, but they work just fine.
