That said, the top of the ring inside is 12 oz, which is exactly what I need for my aeropress. 3- this pot does not work with all stoves. Example: the Soto Amicus supports are just barely wider than the solid ring covering the fins on the base. Use the Amicus, and the pot will not be adequately supported (only about 1mm of the pot will be on each support, not good). It works perfectly for me with the Kovea Spider. 4- I've used it for heating water and making homemade chicken vegetable soup (my favorite camping dinner). Cons: the heat conductor bottom is too large for a my small backpacking stove. I had to buy a new stove with a larger base to make it work for me. The handle comes off pretty easy and is annoying to have to put it back together often.
