This is intentionally a hard wax! It will do as designed, but many think softer beeswax, that is wrong in my opinion. I use it as a last edging coat, preferably with a warmed heated edge tool. Then a clean microfiber cloth smoothing overall, for a last wipe.I use a new clean small soldering iron, plugged in a variable temp. box, to get the best smoothing, at a lower cost.

Not as easy to work with as the burnishing gum but still does the job.

This is a great product and seals well

so firm it took me along time. Years on the bench to sort out how to use it. But with light touch & technique turns out nice finsining touch. heat helps or burnishing machine if your choice. better then beeswax's

I was looking for a wax to use on my leather projects and decided to give this a try. It worked better than expected. Good item for a good price.

I burnish a lot of leather and this is great to rub on edges and creates a great burnish!

Not sure what to say or what it is. It said to heat it up , it took five minutes in the microwave to even start to soften up. Then put it on the leather edge, then it became a flaky wax that would take some time to burnish in if it even did that. Time and money wasted. Don’t put yourself through what I and others have done. If I coul give this product a negative 100 I would.Happy trails.

This wax bar is dense and hard. Therefore, transferring wax would take some pressure. I would prefer to have it a bit softer out of the box to make it easier to apply to the leather edge. I was hesitant to warm it up fearing that I may soften it too much.
