Ideal for any kid struggling to hold a pencil.
My 5 yo had such a hard time learning how to hole his pencil in school last year, no one was able to help. I bought these and it wasn’t long before he was able to hold his pencil correctly without it!! I was very impressed!!

Decent grips for standard pencils - not for the chunky pencils for little ones
I searched amazon for large pencil grips which would fit with the “chunky” Ticonderoga pencils and these came up. It also displayed a suggestion to purchase the very pencils I was thinking of so I bought these for my Pre K child. Unfortunately, these are for standard pencils not the chunky style I was looking for. I could probably force it on, but in the process of trying I decided that when it came time to sharpen the pencil, the grip would be a bear to get off so I stopped. As a standard pencil grip, it seems fine. My Pre K child who was struggling with his grip was able to use this grip (with a lot of help to get his fingers in it correctly). While it isn’t exactly what I was hoping for, we can still use these pencil grips.

Thankful For This Product!
I Purchased This In 2020 For My Son Who Was Just Starting School For The First Time. I Had Many Emotions Running Through Me Because My Son Was So Smart And I Was Very Proud Of Him, He Just Couldn't Write. I Didn't Know How To Teach My Son How To Write And I Sorta Panicked. So When I Looked Up Some YouTube Videos On How To Teach Your Child How To Write, My Search Had Led Me To Amazon. Now He Amazes Me Everyday When I See How Good He Holds A Pencil, Marker, Anything! It Really Works! I Just Personally Didn't Like The Thickness Of The Pencil Grip. Definitely Would Recommend To Any Mom Who Faces The Same Challenges With Their Child.

Great Technique Reinforcement, but Not the Most Comfortable & Only for Pencils
Initial Impressions:I purchased these pencil grips for my 4-year-old daughter, hoping they would pair well with her disappearing ink pens for writing practice. However, I quickly discovered that they only fit on standard-sized pencils, which was a disappointment. Additionally, the grips felt a bit too small for her fingers, barely accommodating them (as she is the size of a 6-year-old).Performance Evaluation:While the pencil grips did not seem to be the most comfortable for my daughter with the material being very stiff-like, I've decided to keep them anyhow. Although we don't currently focus extensively on pencil writing practice in her homeschooling workbooks, I see potential for these grips to reinforce proper handwriting techniques during her early years of writing. Consistency in proper grip can contribute to lifelong writing habits.User Experience:Overall, my experience with the Bright Autism Pencil Grips has been mixed. While they may not be the perfect fit for my daughter's current needs, I appreciate their potential value in reinforcing proper handwriting skills. However, the limited compatibility with only pencils and the uncomfortable fit for my daughter's fingers are definite drawbacks.PROS:Designed to aid handwriting trainingPotential for reinforcing proper grip habitsMay contribute to lifelong consistency in writing skillsCONS:Only compatible with pencilsUncomfortable fit for some usersConclusion:In conclusion, the Bright Autism Pencil Grips for Kids offers potential benefits for improving handwriting skills, particularly in reinforcing proper grip techniques during the early stages of writing development. While they may not be the most comfortable or versatile option, they could still be a valuable tool for parents seeking to instill lifelong writing consistency in their children.

Great product to teach proper grasp
No matter how many times he was corrected, my son did a whole-fist grip on the pencil. Saw these online and thought I would give them a try. Not only was I impressed but so was his occupational therapist! They really work. Took a few times for him to get used to them, but he now uses them every time with pencils or crayons and it is making him more comfortable with loosening his fist grip.

As expected
Ordered these for my son, he has Autism and uses them for OT therapy. Works great but he is picky and doesn't want to use them, it takes some time to get used to but with work will get used to it. It will help with writing posture.
