Meh… it’s ok…
Well I bought this product on the last second whim. My fingers get so tired from holding my phone horizontal playing games, so I just picked the cheapest one and bought it now that I’ve done research, I find out that other models of this particular style of comptroller actually have power banks, and cooling fans. So I ordered one of those. This controller does the trick, it holds my phone, not very well. It doesn’t seem to have squared edges to hold the phone in, they are rounded and it causes the phone to pop in and out and it gives the controller a look of being bent out of shape. It does let the phone heat up, but I don’t play serious games like other people out there, I play intermittently, but if I were to really lay into some of my video games like Dragon Ball legends, or my hero academia, then I would definitely need a cooling fan. It’s a cheap product it works but don’t expect anything spectacular. I basically just bought it so it would alleviate some of the pinching pain on my fingers from constantly holding my phone playing my phone games

I hate that I spent money on this
This just feels like the cheapest piece of plastic that you could ever find anywhere. I feel like this is something that they would sell for 50 cents at the local dollar store and not nearly worth what I paid for it. It's rough, feels (and is) hollow and would probably break easily even if you did find a device it fit well on - most likely it won't fit anything you want it to, and bend like the flimsy piece of junk it is.

SELECT TYPE 2!!
After purchasing the type 1 grip several times, I’m happy to report that the type 2 is a vast improvement. The type 1 is flimsy, and the front and back pieces consistently arrived already beginning to separate from each other laterally. Additionally, the side rails would weaken and never lasted past 2 or 3 months.I’m happy to report that the type 2 grip is made of much sturdier plastic, exhibits none of the separation of the halves tendency, and the side rails appear much thicker, without the obvious weak point at the screw of the type 1. I wish I’d been aware of the option before I went through 4 of the type 1s in less than a year.

Joystick sucks
It's comfortable to hold but the joy stick thing sucks.

Decent ergo
I'll get to the point. Decent ergonomics.. and overall cool idea.. but it's made with the cheapest materials. the d-pad is hinged onto the grip with a rubber hinge.. I had to superglue mine so that it would stay in place. The actual d-pad is made very poorly.. it looks cheap and feels cheep. The ones you find online where they just sell it by itself are way better.. even though those aren't that great either (but in comparison... miles.. my friend). If you use it just for the grip it's not bad. You'd could always buy a separate d-pad thumb knob.. if I can call it that. The grip is cheap but light.. if that was what they were going for.. congrats.. they found the cheapest and thinnest plastic known to man.. however.. it does distribute the weight of the phone well. My iphone 13 pro max (along with it's cover on) felt snug and overall lighter when using the grips. If you get it.. superglue the hinges onto the grip. Does it get the job done? I guess.. I don't see the d-pad springs and all lasting that long tho. You get what you pay for and the line starts here. And to be fair. I do use it. If you're like me.. without a suction mounted dpad.. or one hinged on a grip.. my thumb travels everywhere it doesn't need to. And that's on me. I need something to keep my movements compartmentalized.

Cheaply made of thin plastic
It broke as soon as I put it on my device. I would not recommend this version to anybody. Spend a few $$ and actually get good quality made and durable. I bought this multiple times thinking it may of been a error with me putting it on or extensive usage but nope, it's crappy made thin plastic

Broke after 3 days.
The upper attachment point on the sides is very weak and broke under the strain of holding my A50 after a few days of use. I tried to glue it but it wouldn't hold. It was a inexpensive buy but still I would have expected more. Before breaking it worked great though. I ended up 3D printing my own holder for gaming.

Great tool
This has been helping me while I wait, at the Doctors office, at the dog park; taking a dump. It’s a better grub for me. As I play phone games, watching you tube. Reading a news article. It feels a bit Flimsy, I sometimes feel like I’m going to brake it, for the price I feel it could feel a bit sturdier. But again for the price you can just buy another one
