Great filter
The filter's effectiveness is demonstrably evident in the unit's cleanliness after maintenance. Following a period of several months of inactivity due to illness, the unit remained remarkably clean, while the filter accumulated significant debris. Simple vacuuming of the filter fully restored its functionality. Filter replacement is required only every two to three years, despite the presence of five dogs, indicating excellent performance.

Price needs lowered
Price is to high, needs changed every 6 months. After swapping out my 3rd filter the Homedics 5 in 1 Air Purifier won't stop flashing red saying filter needs changed even though its brand new. I dont see any easy way to reset the red light circle without looking further into it online.

These filters work great I can’t believe the dust that goes through these filters. I usually get 2 a year you can vacuum the filter from time to time which extends the life of your filter. They do go on sale from time to time.

My initial frustrating review: really waste of time and money, paid $70 for filter and $20 shipping fees. I raised return however it again requires to pay postage which is of $20. I am paying $40 for nothing but , crap and then i ll get filter refund of $70. awful -- update Amazon promptly refund my valuable money, after considering initial review. Really appreciate, it as $100 was lot of money for me. Thank you again. I wish to buy the filter again which I needed for asthma allergies.
