Pure ChargePAK E1 Bloc-batterie rechargeable (EVOKE Flow, EVOKE Mio, EVOKE-1S, EVOKE-2S, Sensia)

The battery was surprisingly easy to install, in spite of what other reviewers have said. You just connect the connector on the battery lead to the one inside the battery holder and your off. It seems to last OK also, though I haven't used it for a long time off the mains.The only slight surprise is that the sound volume when on battery is much less than when the radio is on the mains. So if you swap from one to the other you are continually readjusting the volume control. I have no idea whether this is a design fault of the radio's or a battery problem. (This is the reason for 4 stars only)At about £15 less than the Pure version of the battery, the Cameron Sino version is a good buy

Contacted seller, no help whatsoever, reminded me there is a 30 day warranty only! Do not buy this rubbish.

As a rechargeable battery it did its job for my new Sensia, that is until the radio kept freezing and the only way to get it going again was to take out the battery - I did not immediately give up in the hope that updates would put this right, but in the end I had to return the radio via Amazon's excellent returns service. Now I am left with an expensive battery without any use for it because if I go for the upgraded and apparently glitch free Sensia I will have to buy yet another specialist battery. Is this Pure greed!Its bad enough selling radios with glitches - battery not included - you would think that upgrading to a new version of the same radio would mean the battery would be interchangeable. But no, not only do you have to buy another battery, its even more expensive - around £40. Trouble is I love the Sensia experience, but I hate the Pure battery policy. Maybe there is a technical reason - whatever, it just seems I will have to save up a bit longer to get back to that Sensia experience - radio as it was meant to be. It just offends my eco-senses to waste resources in this way.

Works ok, and still on its first charge. How long it will last is likely to be the key element.Unfortunately the message from Amazon was 'shipped today, arrive tomorrow'. It took nearly 3 weeks to arrive , apparently, direct from Germany on the 'free post'. But, it was less than £ 20 in total( freepost) for the 8,800 mah version. There is also an up-rated German version ( 10,400mah ) at around £ 40 which will run your radio for 25 hours or so on a charge.So far this battery ( the same rating 8,800 mah as the more expensive Pure version ), seems ok but only time will tell

Easy to fit, albeit a little fiddly with by big chubby finers and the tight connection but better that than a loose connection. I bought it for my Pure DAB radio as my wife listens in the bathroom and a mains supply wasn't sensible. Haven't really tested the lonevity of a charge but will ove rthe summer when/if we get in the garden. Seems to do what it claimed to do at half the price of the branded battery.

I bought this battery to enable me to play my Pure Radio away from mains power.It works!.I am quite satisfied and, so I should be. It cost considerably more than a number of dry cellsto perform the same task. It also can be kept charged by the Radio. Which, again for the priceis to be expected.

Well packaged item . decent quality of build & material . Good connection to radio . plug only heats to same temp.as original pure charger , even after over 24 hours of charging . Would recommend over slightly cheaper versions .

Does exactly what is says in the box. Very pleased with the product. Easy to inset into the battery connections and fits tightly into the battery housing. It arrived on time by post. I was having some problems not associated directly with the product. However, the company Sheeyan International Ltd that delivered this item were extremely helpful in resolving this issue for me. I would have no hesitation in recommending this product and the supplier to all my family and friends. I will, with no hesitation purchase other items of the same type from this organisation.
