Not to worry, one of the mechanics at my bike shop showed me how to get better cog-cleaning results with a piece of corrugated cardboard! No need to buy the brush at all. When I ordered, I was only expecting the replacement black brush, since I already have the tool. But what I received was the blue handle with the black brushes installed, basically the complete tool. The blue handle looks different from the original. The raised, molded in part number doesn't look nearly as good as the original Park Tools brush, and the patent number block on the handle is blank, where the original authentic Park Tools brush has the patent number stamped on it. Is the handle counterfeit? I don't know, but it feels like it.
