Simply works.
These units were lighter in weight than the original regulators but that was to be expected. They fit perfectly fine and function as needed. To confirm other reviews, they do go up a bit slower than the original motors but that's ok. They are smooth and do the job for a good price. Longevity will be determined later. Side note, I added extra grease to everything. I felt the factory application was a little light in that area.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this window regulator and motor assembly for the passenger front window of my 97 Explorer, Eddie Bauer edition. The fit and quality of this assembly is on par with, if not better than, the factory assembly. There were no issues during installation and everything works as it should. The only issue that concerns me is the new motor is weaker than the factory motor. This weakness is very evident when the window is going back up (see video). I don't know if this will affect the longevity of the motor so I'll update my review in a year or sooner if the motor should fail.Side Note: If you're like me and don't want to mess with rivets more than you have to, grab five, 1/4" 20 × 1/2" bolts and five lock nuts to match. You can use these to eliminate the hassle of drilling out and re-installing rivets, should you ever need to replace the assembly again. I also recommend putting a small amount of grease along the tracks that the plastic guides ride on.

Time to fix that window slop.
Works good. So far no issues a month later.To do this in a 90's explorer you have to drill out a few rivets but they are easy to drill soft rivets so not a bad job to do. Good quality for the price I'd say.
