One of the Best Batman stories
A complex, crazy, action-packed surprisingly human Batman story. It's as hopeful as it is dark. The artwork is darkly beautiful, eye- filling in every panel that will please the Batman fans including me . Please read.

Modern Classic - experience it in the grandest format
This is my first comic purchase in Absolute format; I have online DC comic subscription and started reading this story on my tablet; first few pages in I thought, maybe I should try getting a physical copy - the story seemed interesting enough; and now that I have finished reading it, the first thing I am doing is posting this review; apologies for all this rambling but I just want to say that Absolute Format is the best way to experience a comic back; you can stream a movie on your cellphone or you can watch it on a widescreen theater; for those who have already have absolute editions, you know what you are getting...stunning artwork in oversized pages and bonus content; its makes reading the comic book a memorable experience and what's life if not a collection of experiences. The story is kind of one and done; it helps if you have read the Killing joke and maybe Death in the Family but I have read the former and not the latter and it is still an enjoyable read for someone starting out reading DC comics; the artwork is simply amazing and I love how Batman is portrayed; the take on his physical scars and emotional tragedy at the start of this book is something which batman fans are gonna remember long after reading; this book is a keeper and plan to revisit it; doing my research on collectibles it seems that once these books go out of print they are available for a much higher price on secondary market so would recommend Batman fans and also Joker fans (coz this is an equally good joker story) out there to get a copy with the great current discount on the cover price; I have ordered a few more DC absolutes and would be reviewing them soon. Thanks for your time in reading this review

Definitely worth a read for Bat fans
Really good story that pulls on a lot of heart strings for a lot of characters. A very clever way to retcon the changes in Joker’s demeanor over the years. The art is very good, a little too graphic at times for my taste but very good. The story sucks you in and you are invested in all the main characters. Also enough twists to keep you entertained. In my opinion, top tier of Batman stories. Would make a good DC animated flick too.

Nice spin on the History of the Joker
Great story, would have been nice if Nightwing could have played a part two in the story. Very good story and art. Nice trip through the years of Joker stories..

A solid novel on story and artwork.
-Im very picky when it comes to buying graphic novels because most times you will have great artwork but a sub par story or perhaps the other way around. Three Jokers is an interesting tale that tips a toe in the water of other great stories such as Death in the Family and The Killing Joke. It does this with a light touch and does not ruin those stories but offers a solid continuation. The artwork is beautiful and every panel is perfectly done. The story is a bit of a detective tale that sinks into the history of the Bat Family ultimately focusing on the different paths each member has taken to deal with past events. The ending is satisfying because it is not so much a happy one but one that leaves you wanting more. The Joker (or Jokers) are major players but it's not overdone so that the mystery can exist. My favorite variation of the three was "The Criminal" which was an older and way more serious Joker somewhere in the range of the Nicholson film version. Honestly I didn't have high expectations for this story but it was my favorite read of 2023. It just left me wanting more of the Three Jokers and the solemn note at the end just rang true with what I love about the darkness of the Batman mythology. This one is a keeper and I will certainly reread it again and again.

Great story, love the end especially but kinda a dick move lol
Yeah as always with Geoff Johns you get the great writing along with great story telling and pace and he usually works with great artists who are able to bring that to life or he does it himself. But just really enjoyed all the different angles in this that come to play, a whole lot of lore and Joker scars revisited. Definitely recommend reading it if your a fan of any of the characters in these stories, the writers and artists.

Batman is the best hero of all times…Period! He is a man’s man hero. I can relate to his emotions. No one can ever know the true you.
