I don't load large volumes of 12 gauge, but needed something relatively cheap to do decent roll crimps for slugs. This is perfect for that. And the roll crimps are surprisingly good and professional looking. I learned that adding a tiny amount of oil to the hull lip makes the crimping easier, faster and cleaner. Doesn't work on used hulls that have star-crimps. You'll need a different tool for that. This tool is only for roll crimps. On the downside, this seems a little flimsy so I'm not sure if it will last or not. Only time will tell. Best for low volume work, I think.

I finally received my 12 gauge crimper "From Russia With Love". Shipping went fine until it arrived at our shores, then it meandered around for over a month. Set up is easy and results in a steady operation. Almost effortless to apply roll crimps. Leaves an impressive squared off crimp. Sweet, Highly recommend!
