Works on KDTE334GPS0
Used a screw to pull old one (did not have to remove dishwasher) added some food grade silicon grease stopped leak. I will probably buy the orange one and replace next year. Watched youtubes of how to disconnect feeder tubes and how to remove Grommet with a screw. Total job took maybe 15 minutes to replace but I could probably do it in 5 now. Part worked well and it got here in a day or 2. Thank you for fixing whirlpools scam (see below).Rant: This is so messed up that Whirlpool handles this the way they do. They should supply a few of these with every purchase and say replace every 2 years. It is such a well known issue that if you google dishwasher leaking it is the number 1 reason. They do not sale this cheap piece (luckily others do) they force you to buy the whole sump assembly to get it if you buy factory authorized not only that but if it leaks it leaks onto the diverter controller that they would try to also replace. So to have it fixed you would have to pay est $135 for tech to come out and look at it,Sump assembly part 100-150 and diverter controller 120 -170 plus any additional labor and parts markup. So 300-500 to fix the leaky grommet which can't cost more than 50 cents to make. How many of those people confronted with a 500 bill to repair an older dishwasher just buy new probably from a different brand but still made by Whirlpool. So how many Thousand dollar dishwashers are being thrown out because of a GROMMET What a scam!!I bought a Samsung TV $1400 it quit coming on after 3 years. I googled it read an article about checking the capacitors and if they are bad replace them. I spent about 5$ and soldered new ones on the board. That TV is still working. Apparently in order to save money they were using 1 cent capacitors instead of 5 cent capacitors on a $1400 TV. Luckily I know how to google if not a factory repair man would want 100$ for the call, $300 to replace the control board and at that point are you just buying a new one. Just another instance of a high price item having an inexpensive point of failure that would just cost the manufacture a few dollars more to prevent on a product he is already overcharging the consumer.Last thing: if you were to build a dishwasher from a factory authorized parts it would cost at least 10 -20K

This one works!
I tried the same seal from another supplier and it leaked. I even tried using teflon tape as others suggested, but it continued to leak so I returned it and purchased this one.All I did was wipe the area with a paper towel and push firmly to seat the seal. So far not a drop of leaking.

Much better than original.
This seal is slightly taller than the original but fits perfectly anyway. As can be seen in the picture, it has a stainless steel spring just like the original, which should help to keep it sealing where it matters. It appears to be more substantial around the diverter valve shaft, where the original seal (which leaks after three to five years) is weak. I expect this one to last more than five years, but it's inexpensive enough that I bought two and will replace it after five years anyway. Installation is easy if you can find the right video to guide you.

It is a little thicker than the OEM one it replaced but so far so good
Dishwasher was leaking out of the middle of the diverter valve and after some research found that this gasket goes bad after 5 or 6 years. Ordered the replacement and was a bit concerned because this was quite a bit taller than the OEM one but it has been in for a couple of months and so far so good.

Worked for Model WDF780SLYB1
It fit my Whirlpool WDF780SLYB1 model and saved me from having to replace the entire diverter. I was able to pull the old grommet out with a right angle pick and push this one in with my thumb – greased it with a bit of dish soap to make it fit better.

No more Leak!!! Kitchen Aid
Worked perfectly on our five year old Kitchen Aid Model# KDFE204ESS4. Dishwasher was leaking from bottom of white diverter valve motor. New valve motor doesn’t come with seal. Only way to get a new seal is to by a $120 sump motor. Appliance repair folks wanted $300 for part and labor. I installed this myself while watching a YouTube video. Make sure the open side with the small spring is facing up, inside the dishwasher. Pics are of original seal for location. New seal sticks up slightly and fits tight. Nice $8 Repair. No more Leak!

Works to stop leak on Whirpool washer.
I have a whirpool washer that had a leak from the sump area. Appliance repair man wanted to change sump and motor assembly which was almost the cost of dishwasher. Three years ago I had changed the seal with OEM seal, but in three years old seal gave away and leak started again. I changed the seal again and have set-up a reminder to change after 2 years. Off course I have a water leak alarm.
