Vac/mulch works great!
I used the B&D blower/vacuum/mulcher today for the first time, to clean up the leaves in our back yard. Our yard is roughly 1500sf and we have two big trees that dumped about 2/3 of their leaves that I needed to pick up. The wind was very strong last night, so it took care of gathering the leaves into a few main areas in the yard so I just had to vacuum them up. I did not use the blower function this time, only the vacuum/mulcher. It worked great! I was so pleased with the suction power, much more than I was expecting. I did use it on the high seeing the whole time. It was able to make quick work of piles, as well as picking up the leaves that had been walked on and smashed into the grass. It comes with a strap that clips onto the machine so you can put it across your shoulder/chest so a lot of the weight is on your shoulders and not on your arms. It's easy to maneuver and lightweight to start out. However, as you vacuum up the leaves, the collection bag gets heavy, so you then start to feel the weight. Nice thing is, the collection bag is very easy to snap on/off, and the zipper to empty it makes it easy to do so, as frequently as you need to. I picked up all the leaves in the back yard, emptied the collection bag 5 or 6 times, and it all mulched down to fit into a 40 gal contractor bag. Awesome! Thank you to another reviewer who warned of the dust from the collection bag. I heeded that warning and wore a mask, and it was very much needed. If you don't wear glasses you may consider wearing some goggles or safety glasses too, to keep the dust out of your eyes. Fair warning, you will get very dirty running the vac/mulch, so just plan on having to change your clothes and shower afterwards. A small price to pay for this machine that does a great job. I would highly recommend this B&D blower/vacuum/mulcher.

Best leaf blower and vacuum!
The BLACK+DECKER BV6000 Leaf Blower, Vacuum, and Mulcher is a fantastic tool for anyone looking to make yard cleanup easier and more efficient. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and it has exceeded my expectations. The 250 MPH blower power is strong enough to handle even heavy, wet leaves, making it ideal for fall cleanup. The vacuum function works seamlessly, and the built-in mulcher reduces leaf volume significantly, which is a game-changer for composting or reducing yard waste bags. Switching between blower and vacuum modes is simple, although it takes a minute to get used to the setup if it’s your first time. The included two disposable bags are a nice touch, though I recommend purchasing extras for larger jobs. • The 12-amp motor is powerful but requires a heavy-duty extension cord to avoid any issues with performance.

It works - it just feels like I'm using someone else's one man band setup poorly
Update: I used the blower. It is massively way more effective than my Worx battery blower. I don't like dragging the extension cord around, but piling all the leaves and the sucking them up is a much faster job. I realize now that my other blower is more of a gentle sweeper than a powerful machine that clear my gutters, grass and yard with one fell swoop...okay, an exaggeration, but it is effective. Upping the rating from 3 to 4 stars. Better blower than mulcher. Plus, without the bag, way less awkward. Overall it gets the job done. Leaves are sucked in. Small sticks have a satisfying crunch as they pass through the grinder. I have a lightweight blower so have not tried that function. My biggest issue is the catch. The bag is nice, but it seems to be made out of some material which allows fine dust to come through it so when sucking in leaves and in my case London Plane seed balls, I feel surrounded by a small cloud and finish covered in a fine layer of dust. The other issue I have, also with the catch, is with the strap on the bag, but I have not figured out a classy way to wear it where between that and managing the cord, it is comfortable and I'm not constantly adjusting things. I'm short so that may have something to do with it. I feel like it might have been better for me as a backpack or maybe I need to make my own bag or shorten the straps. The bag itself is a little hard to empty. The zipper is not smooth and has a curve to allow for a bigger opening which is nice, but I find I have to balance the bag on the side of my green waste bin to get the zipper open. I think if the bag were more cone shaped, made of a more slippery nylon, had a better zipper that ran smooth and didn't have to pull around a corner when full, things would work out better for us all. And again, when I'm emptying, the pollen cloud puffs around me. I will use it again, the London Plane tree is huge and always dropping leaves. It was just so awkward to use that I've not tried again. I probably also need ear protection, a facemask and goggles -- or in all honesty, a gardener.

Powerful & Versatile Leaf Blower/Vacuum!
This BLACK+DECKER Leaf Blower, Vacuum, and Mulcher is a game-changer for yard cleanup! The blower function is powerful, easily clearing leaves and debris from my driveway and lawn. The vacuum and mulcher work great for collecting and shredding leaves, significantly reducing bag waste. Switching between functions takes a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, it’s very efficient. The bag holds a good amount, and the lightweight design makes it easy to use for extended periods. Perfect for fall cleanup and keeping the yard tidy! Highly recommend! 🍂🍃

Ran for 5min. Dead.
Leaf vacuums are as a class, garbage. If you need to vacuum leaves, you will get far better results using ANY other kind of vacuum than a vacuum supposedly design for it. In 25yrs, this is the 3rd one I have been blessed with. Someone trying to be helpful gifted it to me w/o asking first, because they know I process a lot of leaves each year. (Have a lot of mature maples.) Already have a fantastic cordless blower so maybe this can at least be a decent corded backup blower. Then I decided this spring it could be used to (hopefully) remove and mulch debris where the mower can't go. Gave it a go jutst now and it was just as pathetic as past "vacuums" have been. Have to pick thing up by hand and spoonfeed them into this things maw. Should just use the shopvac or blow the stuff out into the yard ... And then, after less than 5min, it dies. I checked the power, I check the cord, every thing's fine. AS vacuum that can't even suck also m,anages to have crap internal wiring. YGBFKM. It took longer to smash this thing and separate it into scrap and recyclable materials than it ran. TL;DR ... don't even bother, even if it's a "gift."

Leaf vacuum - game changer
The leaf vacuum is so much better than a leaf blower and wish I got one a few years ago. Instead of spreading leaves all over, the vacuum picks them up, grinds them down and then you can use the clippings for garden fertilizer or put them at the curb for the town to pick up. The vacuum will even pick up very wet leaves. I'm 59 and found the leaf vacuum very easy to use and not heavy even with a full bag of ground up leaves. I emptied the bag 10x = 40 gallons to clear my backyard which has 6 large maple trees.

Worked ok for 2 seasons
I primarily used this tool as a leaf vacuum, since the blower function didn't work as well as the cheap $30 blower I already had. The vacuum and mulch function did get the job done on my 1/3 acre lot with lots of deciduous trees and shrubs. It was an extremely dusty process with this bag, but probably unavoidable while maintaining air flow. The chute clogs quite frequently, particularly if there are any more than one pine cone in the chute at a time. The motor just burned out at 20 months after purchase. I got about 7 several hour sessions in. It mulches pretty well and makes a big difference in reducing debris volume and allows me to compost on site without having to bag tons of leaves up each fall. It was a bit pricey for less than 2 years lifespan, though. I think I'm going to try to find a more reliable brand for it's replacemet. Sad that Black & Decker doesn't make as reliable tools as they used to.

Works well
Item came right on time. Have only used it once but good so far. We have a huge maple tree and our climate is very wet. Blower worked great. Like the concentrated nozzle accessory for a more direct blow. The vacuum did pick up and mulch the wet leaves but I wouldn't expect it to do all the leaves. Think it would over heat for the amount we have.

Muy eficiente
Buena potencia.

Good value works very well
Sucked up all the leaves in my yard and I was impressed how well it worked. Had lots of suction and had no problem sucking up large volumes of leaves. The catch bag did it's job. Not sure about the blowing part as I did not really use that function. I would buy this Black and Decker BV6000 again.
