Does it make the air smell sweet ?

No we have been pleased with the air quality and it is very quiet and generally we are not aware of it. There is no smell at all

Can this be used as a white noise generator?

It does have a gentle sound that I find comforting and helps me fall asleep

How do i turn off the led lights at night but keep the fan on high?

To turn off the bright leds and keep the fan on high use the manual control button (right arrow). When pressed repeatedly it will cycle from auto to low to medium and then to high leaving only a dim indicator lit.

How do I get the red flashing off? I have no idea where the reset button is for my 545, can anybody help?

It's on the front panel, looks like a small pin hole. Just stick a small nail, toothpick or a straightened paper clip into the hole...That's it !
