Coin mounted easily into this...fit perfectly with all but the tiniest gap after screw is tightened (only noticeable under magnification.) You absolutely have to use one of those tiny screwdrivers for eye glasses which are not expensive, and preferably a lighted magnifier lamp which you should have anyway if you collect coins or make jewelry. 16.5 mm is actually a great sized coin for a necklace pendant.
