I have a supra condylar femur fracture with delayed union so must keep my leg perfectly straight. I bought this brace as the one my surgeon gave me kept falling down. The long metal brace along the back of this product stabilizes my leg much better than my first brace but this one also simply will not remain in place long regardless of how tightly I initially secure it.

Wouldn't stay up at all ... Over or under pants, also design did not prevent my knee from bending.

It was cumbersome to use and didn't work as intended.

I bought this item for a torn meniscus in my knee that would cause incredible pain at night when my leg would involuntarily bend. It would wake me up in agony trying to straighten my leg out for relief. I tried support braces with marginal relief. The Knee Immobilizer has brought stability and completely prevents the knee from flexing and it seems to be healing much faster.If you're bending your leg while sleeping and unaware, causing knee pain and increasing damage this product is for you.

I think this is a great product, for the following reasons: 1. It keeps my leg very straight and stable. I can lift something heavy, and my knee is supported. 2. It has an open design, so it is very breathable. I find this particularly important in the summer months.I need to give a word of advice: the two middle straps are the key to keeping this brace in place. One goes below the knee and one above the knee. I find that I must keep these as tight as possible, and the brace stays in place. Other reviewers say it slips, but I think they are applying the straps incorrectly.

Brace arrived sooner than estimated! Brace would work well for someone recovering from knee surgery or injury. Easy o adjust.
