Makes tomatoe prep a breeze!
If you ever find yourself frustrated with the tedious task of hulking tomatoes, this little gadget is here to save the day. First off, let’s talk about how easy it is to use. The design is super intuitive—just press down, and the blades do their magic. I was shocked at how quickly I could hull a whole batch of tomatoes for salsa. No more trying to scoop them out with a spoon, which always felt messy and time-consuming. The huller is also surprisingly easy to clean. A quick rinse under the tap and it’s ready for the next round. I appreciate that it’s compact enough to fit in my drawer without taking up too much space, too. I’ve used it with various tomato sizes, and it performed well across the board. Whether it’s cherry tomatoes or larger beefsteaks, it tackled them all without any fuss. Overall, the Chef'n Hullster has definitely made my prep work less of a chore. If you love cooking with tomatoes, I highly recommend giving this handy tool a try!

Love this little tool
Gimmick? Maybe, but I tried it anyway. We canned dozens of tomatoes this year and made salsa and marinara sauce that we also canned. LOTS of tomatoes this year. This little thing actually worked extremely well. Quality was really good and it just works. Love it!

It Works
Easy to use and it does exactly what it should do. After using it the first time, I asked myself how I lived without it. Simple and effective.

You didn't know you needed this until you get one.
This is the greatest little gizmo. As I get older, and as my kitchen drawers get more and more full, I refused to buy more "one function" products. This was on my wish list for a while and I got a notice from Amazon that it was back in stock, so I went against my best inclination and bought it. I'm so glad I did. It is amazing. It does just what it's supposed to do -- take the hull out of the tomato. It's so easy. And so efficient. I find myself hulling tomatoes all over the place! Seriously, it's very good at what it does and makes tomato prep easy and neat. It's well made, takes just a quick rinse to clean it off after use and it's cute, too. Buy one now!

Saved my hands!
We had a bumper crop of tomatoes this season and I needed to get most of them prepared. This little gadget was a hand and time saver! Push the plunger, insert into tomato, release plunger, twist and pull. Easy peasy! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the cutter is a little flimsy and I will need to buy another one for next season. But for the price and the MANY tomatoes I processed, it was well worth it.

Broke on 8th tomato!
Worked great for exactly 8 Roma tomatoes. Great tool but it needs to be designed better. The internal mechanism failed or jammed in the open/extended position. I tried running water into the insides thinking it might be tomato jamming it. The mechanism inside failed. Since I have to drive 40+ miles to the nearest UPS store, returning it is not worth the $15.

yeah, it works.
This is a remarkable little device that does what I purchased it to do, remove the stems from strawberries. Unfortunately, it works too well. First, I removed the stems from the strawberries at the breakfast table. All well and good. Then, I went into the fridge and removed the stems from the strawberries there. Excessive, my wife says. So I went to the local supermarket and removed the stems from several boxes of strawberries. The manager told me to stop. But he didn't say anything about the tomatoes, which I began to de-stem. The police office was much less friendly than I expected, but at least he didn't arrest me. When I got back home, I started planting tomatoes. When my yard was full I started planting tomatoes in the neighbor's yard. The police officer was even less friendly, but he was kindly compared to the warden. At least they let me remove the stems from the tomatoes in the prison kitchen, and with good behavior, I should be paroled in a couple of months. So if you buy one of these, be careful not to get too excited.

Requires strong thumb! Color is brownish not bright red.
Color of this product is more of a brown terracotta - not bright tomato red as shown online. Action of core removal button is stiff - requires strong thumb!

This is a brilliant tool for any one who hates the hard core of the tomatoes. This takes the core out perfectly.
