Add the filter that Chrysler was too cheap to install. You might need a frame¹ if this is your first time. Once a year our '10 Jeep GC WK gets a new filter. These fit perfectly and perform admirably. You should see the &#%*@! that they keep out of the cabin air system. Certainly as valuable to our breathing health as seatbelts, it's hard to imagine that they aren't required OEM equipment on ALL passenger vehicles! At least Chrysler put in the opening so all you need the first time is a frame and filter to finish the job (and only a filter after that). Sure it doesn't stop skunk so don't run over them, eh! The filter perfectly fits the aftermarket holder I installed 3 years ago on my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. We live out in farm and horse country and have noticed a significant lowering of outside smells inside the Jeep as we pass by stockyards. Another reason I use a cabin filter and kit is because it extends the life of the HVAC blending doors and protects them for dust and bug damage. I just replaced 2 actuators and the doors/panels are in great shape.

I haven't ran across any skunk or anything yet, and this is my first cabin air filter. It did have an obvious baking-powder smell when I first ran it. Drove past a sawmill or something at some point and could smell that so it's not the ultimate de-odorizer, but it will do. At the very least it will stop debris from clogging up your cabin air system, I know for sure I've plucked pine needles out of my vents before.I'll give it 5 stars and update if I'm nasally assaulted by skunks

Fits & functions well for the 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. It purely freshens the in cabin air, purifies and lessens nuisance odors, including malodorous road kill Skunk smell.

First, please note the following: The picture shown on the Amazon page is incorrect. The shape of the filter is not rectangular as shown on the picture but is a long and narrow, but thick filter. Also, as one reviewer said, this item CANNOT be used on your Jeep unless you have a MOPAR aftermarket housing previously installed in your car. 2010 or earlier Jeep Grand Cherokees did not have any factory installed cabin filters.This filter is a perfect replacement for the MOPAR brand that came with my filter housing. It works and fits exactly as the original.

2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee can use this filter only after buy conversion hardware.

I wanted to add a good cabin filter to my 2002 Grand Cherokee. To my surprise, these fine SUVs didn't leave the factory with them! I bought an aftermarket frame kit from FilterHeads.com, and this filter from Amazon. It all works perfectly, and I saved a lot of money. (I used a piece of tape to secure the grill, as they all seem loose from my research.) Highly recommended! No more dust in the cabin.
