They are hockey pucks
I don't understand the negative reviews for this product. The biggest negative was the odor. Hockey pucks are vulcanized rubber. They are going to stink. This is a part of the manufacturing process. I dumped them on the patio and forgot about them for a..... well..... I don't remember how long they were on the patio, but they are fine. I brought them to practice at least three times a week. They do what they are supposed to do. If you think these stink, honestly your player is not working hard enough on the ice. There is little in this universe to rival the smell of hockey equipment.

Not bad
We purchased these for a future hockey player. He runs through at least 50 shots and passes a day. We mainly hit a hanging tarp but sometimes switch to metal goals. We shoot on an hdpe rink and they slide well.For the money these are an awesome buy. They’ve held up well but he’s only 5 and I never played hockey. I AM over 3 pounds per inch, though, and hit them decently hard. They give us more pucks to work with without having to retrieve them often.Our durability results will likely differ given the current switch to lacrosse season. But we will buy more of these no matter what.

Good Practice Pucks
These pucks were purchased for my daughter to practice shooting and stick handling on synthetic ice and using a sniper's edge tarp. They seem to holding up well and a good value!

Functional, but they smell really bad....
They are pucks. They are functional for kids practicing outdoors. However, I would not buy these for a rink puck bucket - kids and coaches may pass out at the odor. Wow, they really smell. I had box open in garage to at out, and now garage stinks too!
