Q: I have a springfield xdm,thr grip is a maze of textured squares. has anyone attempted to put one on an xdm and if so what were the results?

Be sure to clean the entire gun thoroughly but specifically the grip. I use Non Chlorinated Brake Cleaner and a scrub brush to make sure no residue and oil is left in the recessed areas. From there just use heat and the material will press into all of the contours nicely. Sometimes I will use a piece of foam (like what is found inside of a gun case) and use it to press the material into really detailed areas.

Q: Will this fit a desert eagle 50 ae?

The pieces for the frame and slide (up to 8") require the user to trim to fit their specific model. If your gun is longer, consider wrapping it using a Scope Gear Skin (8" x 15") with instead and measure/cut the pieces you need to make fit.
