BSA does it again!
This latest version of the Scout Handbook is great to have. For any cub scout ready to advance it's a great giftable item. My son lost his first so obviously it's a great item to have a backup for.The sturdiness is questionable. My original book from the 70's feel apart after about 5 years of regular use and reading. This spiral binding isn't as sturdy as most spiral notebooks from school. I have no idea how to fix the problem without as full rebinding. Thankfully at this price is reasonable.Keep your records backed up and perhaps look at the official cover to protect it.

A must have. Excellent Handbook
Excellent reference..its comprehensive and yet with just enough coverages of relevant information. A must have for ever BSA membes and their parents as well. Its a practical ready to use manual. When I started as a Boy Scout we has a book by Baden Powell Scouting for Boys 1962 edition. This edition is a treat to eyes and written by keeping field requirement in mind.Kudos to BSA staff, Job well done.

Great resource!
Because a couple of people wrote reviews based on girls being allowed to join Scouts, I had to weigh in.While I wish there was more of a discount for the kindle version of the book, I use this at least a few times a week to look up a requirement or piece of info. While I also have a paper copy, being able to search is key for me.
