Get these ladies or gents for your ladies. You can shoot and still have conversations. Save your hearing since tinnitus sucks.

I have tried this brand of electronic ear muffs at a firearms class and was so impressed that I decided to get this one. It really does work at automatically blocking out higher decibel sounds while still being able to hear people talk. I bought the pink color because I didn't want the green color to confuse with the husband's ear muffs. His head is bigger than mine and I wouldn't like my head band stretched out. I wish it did come in other colors such as red, blue, black, or white. I'm not into the pink scheme. Way too girly! But, the functions are still in these ear muffs. The band is a little tight at first, but eventually you get used to it. They get a little bit more slack more you wear them, making it more comfortable to wear as time goes on. I highly recommend these for very good ear protection. Heck, I used to use those 50 cent ear plugs before. These are much better and you can hear all around you clearly and the noise-cancelling kicks in when a firearm goes off.

Compared to walker, these were not hearing as clearly as they did.

I know I didn't give a very high rating for the noise level. Reason being we shoot indoors and the noise is just plain high. We usually put soft ear plugs on as well to ensure we have adequate protection.. I'm sure if we were shooting outdoors this would be sufficient. The volume controls work great. I love that I can give commands to my daughter and know she can hear me. This is a very good added safety feature that you may not realize. When you are out on a range, hearing those around you makes you that much safer. I paid over 60 for a different brand for myself. These were just as good and my daughter loves them.

I bought these electronic muffs for my wife after she decided she had to have a pair too. While I do a lot of shooting recreational and competitive, I have a much nicer set. If you will use them constantly, I would suggest a more expensive set. I bought these for her because she seldom shoots with me. They work fine other than a little bit of static noise if you turn them up too high. My wife especially loves the fact that they have a jack too plug in a cellphone or ipod. When she gets done shooting, she will plug in her ipod and listen to music while still having her hearing protected, while I finish shooting. So far the first set of batteries has already made it through about 12 hours of use and are still going strong. Would recommend to anybody who would not use them constantly.

Worked great! I used them while doing homework in the car so my husband could still listen to the radio. I didn't block out everything, but enough to concentrate.The main reason I bought them was for my 3 year old to watch fireworks. The loud explosions scared her and she didn't even want to watch them from the window in the house. We tried these because we were going out of town and didn't know if people would be shooting fireworks somewhere where she couldn't "get away". She was super excited that they were pink and they worked great!! She loved watching the fireworks and I was relieved that with the microphone feature, she could still talk with me. I recommend for sure!!!

Obsessed! These are not only adorable! But the noise cancellation is great. At the range it eve goes mute if another gun shot goes off nearby. Would highly recommend and great value. - just wish I had a matching case!

Much better than i had expected and worked perfectly when clay shooting, my son also used them for bonfire night and so they are a hit in the family x

they work fine for the price, I would not use those as a main pair but I use it when I bring someone to the range with me and it gets the job done
