Happy fish, happy human!
If you are worried about using chemical dechlorinators, you might think about purchasing this filter. If you have a pond or large aquarium, this may prove to be safer and more cost-effective than chemical products. I saw this on a video sharing website, so I tried it. You can hook it to a *ython siphon system, or you can attach it to an outside faucet with a female/female hose attachment. My chlorine/chloramine readings were zero. I don't know why this hasn't replaced chemicals yet. It's good for ten years or for thousands of gallons, whichever comes first. I still randomly test the water that comes out of it from time to time. So far, so good. I feel that this dechlorinator was a wise investment.

Need to be patient
The product was very bounced around during shipping. It also states that it attaches easily to a garden hose with included adapters. This maybe true in Europe but certainly not in the US. Until we figure out a way to hard plumb it we are using a small hose attachment that doesn’t actually connect so need to rest in carefully in place and monitor until done. Also flow rate has to be really slow for filter to work. Other than that it seems to filter as advertised.

Simple and effective
For the first time ever, I completed a water change without having to fill and haul water. This works and it’s worth every penny. The unit did shed a little carbon at first but that is normal. Thanks seller for your patience.
