Preservision Areds 2 Vitamin & Mineral Supplement 120 Count Soft Gels (Pack of 2)

Friend turned me on to this. Ran by my eye doctor/specialist since I've taken Centrum Silver for years, & they're loaded with vitamins & other essentials. My eye doctor responded & said it was fine to take with my multi-vitamin. This was a good price for them.

It works great for my old eyes

It is not a matter here of one star or five stars. That matter is that the effectiveness of Areds 2 Vitamin and Mineral Supplement Sof Gels is a matter of ongoing clinical research. Right now, in 2014, the research stats are good but, obviously, the current stats cannot tell you what Areds 1 or 2 is going to do to your eyes or for your eyes over the next decade or two. In spite of that, we are crossing our fingers, eyes, and toes in the hope that Areds does in fact *slow down* macular degeneration. If I remember the mouse print correctly, it does not claim to *stop" macular degeneration.
