MY FAVORITE IS "VIRUS BUSTER" - FOR RELAXATION??
VIRUS BUSTER is a bonus game in this daily training program and it is my favorite. It is supposed to be just for relaxation, but I find it extremely stimulating. Trying to bust those viruses is not a lay-back situation. It looks like a slow game, but the continual fall of "pills" (sometimes in batches of three) in the small space provided, requires quick observation and fast action. I play it on hard mode. It is less crowded on the easy and normal modes.VIRUS BUSTER unlocks automatically after a few days of stamped games. I really don't know exactly how many are required. I guess around 20 or 30 days of play. However, there is a way to access it manually and immediately after the first stamp of the first day. On the Training section, go to the bottom of the list and tap on the last appearance with ???. You need to have completed at least one of the exercises and obtained the daily stamp for Virus Buster to open here.To this day, my highest Virus Buster score is 1235 on the Hard mode. I posted three pictures related to this score on the front page of this product. It is not the best out there. Many have reached 4000+ points playing also on the Hard level. As for the other games, the ones for training your mind, my favorites are Memory Sprint, Change Maker, Piano Player, Word Scramble and Calendar Count.A NOTE OF CAUTION HERE: Anything in an excessive dose is harmful. Therefore, if you get addicted to VIRUS BUSTER set a limit to your play time. Too much of a good thing is not a good thing. I've read that some people have exceeded themselves with video games to the point of falling into a seizure. Just be careful if you get addicted to it, and I am not joking. If you have a Nintendo DS Lite, you can play the original version of Virus Buster in a Game Boy Advance (GBA)format. The game is called "Dr. Mario".

If you liked number 1, you'll like this too
Brain Age 2 is very much like Brain Age 1--it features the same long-winded floating head, the same music, the same format--the only thing that's changed is the specific exercises, but that's good enough for me! If you liked the original but have played it to exhaustion, then here's a way to refresh your supply of puzzles and tests.Pros: The games are more varied, now including a musical one, among others. They're also more challenging--on the first one, I'd reached age 20 in about a week. With this one, I'm still hovering around 26 after a month and a half. This gives it longer play value. They've also introduced a tetris-like mini game that's a nice diversion. The handwriting recognition seems to be better, though it's still not perfect.Cons: Handwriting recognition glitches still lead to the occasional frustration of something getting marked wrong that really isn't. It still has limited replay value, since once you've unlocked all the training modes and reached a certain score on them, you tend to lose interest. And Dr. Whats-his-name still talks too much. Basically it has all the same flaws as the first one did.Overall, it's still a great game, a much-needed sequel to the original. Don't expect anything new or original when you buy this, because it really is VERY much like the first one, but if you're just itching for some new training modes, this is for you!

Love this FUN brain challenging game
This is one of the best brain games. It gets harder and harder the longer you play and the younger your brain age gets. I especially love the piano play along.I hate to say I started out as an 80 yr old YIKES. Now after a week I test at 47yr old. And the tests are harder than at the start so you really can see you make progress. There is a little racing man that you have to track with your eyes and tell what place he comes in and others pass him and he passes them. I do terrible at that but it is a good eye training test.At 52 I realized I needed to do more to keep my mind active and doing these games is a great way to do that and have fun at the same time.I highly recommend the Nintendo DS and all the brain games.

Brain Age 2
This product really does offer a good way to work in some higher learning with your children in the format they seem to love best -- video games, and Nintendo DS. My son in 8 and he is able to navigate most of the tasks "assigned" by the Max Headroom-like teacher and developer of the game. We've actually turned it into a family activity, and my wife and I also do our "daily training" along with our son. It's not as easy as it looks, and it's challenging to us, too.It really does offer something of substance to a medium that is mostly brain candy.
