Cute! My orchid did so well in this pot that when I was given more orchids I ordered another one of the same. I’ve had the first one for quiet a while.

The media could not be loaded. LOVE these pots. Yes they’re expensive for “pots” but beautifully designed and they helped save my orchids! I’ve never been able to keep orchids alive. Somehow they always get too much moisture or not enough (yes I did the ice cube trick- not successful) but these pots allow the right amount of moisture and air flow for my orchids. They’re thriving now that I repotted them. I run water over them once a week, allow the water to completely drain and then that’s it. The holes allow for oxygen and moisture evaporation but also keep the right amount of water “in” the soil. Now that I switched to these, my orchids are doing great. I’ve gotten new roots sprouting, new leaves and these 3 gorgeous colorful blooms! Couldn’t be happier.

These pots are beautifully made. Very pretty and sturdy to hold my beautiful orchid plants. More colors would be nice.

I bought this because the plastic planter my orchid was in had no ventilation and the roots were having some real issues. I cut a lot of the roots out (mushy and dead) and transplanted it into this pot, which was a bit larger than the other one. I was originally going to plant it in with some Black Gold orchid soil, but that soil was more dirt than bark and it was falling through this pot's ventilation holes. I ended up mixing it with an orchid bark mixture and only using the soil nearer the center but still sparingly, and the plan has been really perking up. It lost a leaf after the transplant but the other two are now bright green and firm. The pot lets air flow without loosing all of the planting medium, I usually run in under the faucet for a few seconds then let it drain in the sink before putting it back in the saucer on the windowsill. It is a bit large for my windowsill though.
