Usually women do not ovulate twice in a month. It could happen if there was a shorter cycle in a longer month, but the possibility would be slim. Note, if the test read at 3-5 minutes did not show a T line the same or darker than the C line, it is a negative result. Women do have a natural wave of Lh peaks to low ( base lines). It is more likely that the results are showing as fainter or darker based on: 1. when you test 2. sample tested 3. reading the results at proper read time Meaning, getting good samples are important to detect proper hormone levels. For LH testing, testing at 2pm or after and reducing liquids a couple hours before testing is optimal. Using dilute urine or very concentrated urine ( first morning) is not advised for LH testing. Lastly, make sure to read all results at 3-5 minutes. The tests will look much darker after 5 minutes until it dries several hours later.
