Age appropriate and still fun for the grandparents!
This was great for my 5yo granddaughter! After going over the parts, and what to look for in the diagram instructions, she was able to comprehend and follow along on her own. She enjoyed the autonomy and success of her own creation. At 47, I enjoyed the toy and her excitement!

Great Educational Toy
My 5yr old reallllly loves this thing. He’s obsessed with robots and building things, so this was right up his alley. He can sit and spend a good bit of time messing with this, and I love knowing it’s a more educational toy.Also, the little yellow circuit with the light broke pretty recently after we got it, but the company kindly said they would send us a replacement part. Highly recommended this awesome toy and great company!

Watch for missing parts.
It was missing a key part... "the incandescent blub". I text the company and they never responded back. The Gift was already given. I have hope that future purchases will not result in the same thing.However, the parts that were there worked and were enjoyed by the kids.

6 year old grandson LOVED it!
Christmas gift for our 6 year old grandson. He was thrilled when he opened the box and immediately began working with it. Easy directions with pictures, and he’s good with that. Soon he had lights lighting, propellers spinning…so much fun! The little projects progressed in difficulty and added on with complexity. Not sure the batteries can support the drain for the add-ons, but time will tell with that concern, plus he had to set it aside to open other presents. 😊

10/10 get this! I would go straight to the big pack
10/10 — the best item we have ever purchased for our 4-year-old. I would recommend getting the larger pack right from the start and introducing only half of the pieces at first. He mastered all of the builds in one evening and quickly began creating his own. We will definitely be purchasing the next pack.

Great product, good customer service
UPDATE:We received the requested replacement parts in the mail! There was no confirmation or notification from the seller regarding receipt of our request but the items showed up in the mail in time for Christmas stocking stuffers. THANK YOU! Kids still play with this toy and I’ve purchased a much larger set since then that they absolutely love!Bought this for our son and he absolutely LOVED it! He played with it for a few times but the light/fan stopped working consistently then a few weeks later the battery pack cover came loose and now the CD10 piece light is lose so it won’t turn on. We’ve tried contacting customer service and completed their replacement product request but with no response. I’m not sure how best to get ahold of the replacement parts and that’s very unfortunate bc it really is a great toy. I was planning to get the expanded sets for Christmas but given the poor or lack of customer service, will not be moving forward with that.Other than the customer service component, I would highly recommend the product as it’s a great starting point for younger minds to learn about circuits and electricity.

Really Nice Toy
Bought this for my 8-year-old son, he is mostly interested in his PC so bought this small set as was not sure he would be interested.It was a present from Santa so just got around to taking a look. It's well built and the instructions are easy to follow, my son had to be prised off his PC to play with this, but did enjoy it. He was soon able to build the models and it gave him a great sense of achievement.He wants to take it to school and show his friends which is great, too early to see if his interest will last but hope it does as I like it as well and want to get bigger sets!
