Frontier Co-op Organic Garlic Granules, 1-Pound Bulk

Frontier Co-op produces such a great tasting, fresh ORGANIC garlic item in these granules ! As versatile as your imagination can make it. It's not a garlic powder, per se. Usually the powder is a bit of a finer grain, & the Frontier garlic is not an item that we have yet found locally. I'm not even sure if the co-op market nearest me carries GRANULES at all... granules are so easy to use & so simple to quantify for recipes. But who needs to drive 76+ miles, round trip, when Amazon is at our fingertips ? But if that co-op has organic garlic granules -- I cannot believe it would match this really excellent garlic. Never had better granules, & the last such garlic -- which was our preferred formulation for some years -- was suddenly unavailable at one point... So after a deep dive into finding something to replace our favorite -- this looked like a worthy choice. It is better than expected. The taste, the texture & the consistency are remarkable. Thus, I am remarking. Still had some of our old favorite on hand so a direct comparison was in order. No contest. It belongs (poured out) inside of a well-sealed glass jar in the refrigerator here. I picked up these organic garlic granules to have a reliable garlic boost for quick weeknight meals. I was running low on fresh cloves and wanted something convenient but still flavorful. A 1-pound bulk bag sounded like a good long term solution, and knowing it is organic and kosher helped me settle on it. They work well in everyday cooking. I sprinkle them into hot oil before onions go in, mix them into sauces, and even into roasted vegetables. The granules dissolve easily, so there’s no gritty texture and the scent fills the kitchen quickly as things simmer. What stood out is how consistent the flavor is. A small pinch goes a long way, and I can dial up or down without having to peel garlic. It holds up in soups and stews too, adding depth without needing to pre mince. One small caveat is that the container can clump a bit if it gets humid, so I keep it tightly closed and use a dry scoop. Other than that, it’s been a dependable staple in my pantry and makes weeknight cooking easier. Overall I’m very happy with it and I’d rate it five stars.

This was so good and had such good flavor. I actively seek out the granules over the powder. I think the flavor is more intense and delicious. Highly recommend.

Frontier Co-op’s organic garlic granules are fantastic! The aroma is fresh and bold, and the flavor is rich without being overpowering. Great grind. Not too large of granules, and not powdery. The product is superior to what I have purchased previously with other vendors. I will definitely be buying again.

I shop by price per ounce first and then decide the quality I’m willing to pay for and with spices and containments risk, I rather buy organic so in order to get the best quality and spend less I buy in bulk. This company is where I buy all my herbs so I thought to try spices. Prepare for proper storing. Glass in best. I reuse good glass jars from pickles, spaghetti sauce etc. soak in warm water and use some baking soda and a couple drops of vegetable oil to scrape off the labels. Once off run through the dishwasher or hand wash with dish detergent to remove oily residue and any smells. Very important make certain it’s thoroughly dry before putting in spices. Keep spice jars for regular use and the bulk of the spice in the cabinet away from light, heat and moisture.

Way too expensive, but not a single vampire has come near me since buying, so totally worth it.
