Good quality, works perfect for giving new life to old LTM lenses
So pleased with this, especially at the price. When I got my a6300, I was excited to learn that my old LTM rangefinder lenses would be usable with the addition of an adapter - so imagine my delight when this device arrived and proves to work perfectly.Focus across all my lenses is sound at both close and infinity, and the build quality is solid and very reassuring of many years worth of usage. An important note for those looking at this:This will only work for LTM rangefinder lenses, ie. Canon 50mm f1.4 LTM, KMZ Jupiter-8 f2 LTM, Elmar 50mm f2 LTM, etc. Some KMZ lenses, such as the Helios range come with an LTM-style M39 mount, but these were designed for the Zenit SLR and have a different lens register distance - thus, these won't work.As a tip, if you're in doubt, research if the lens you're considering is compatible with a true LTM rangefinder, such as a Leica III. If the lens works on a Leica, or other LTM camera such as the Canon P, then it should work with this adapter as the adapter is there to bring the NEX mount to the same lens register distance as LTM standard (28.8mm).

Easy and effective way to use ancient Canon screw-fit lenses.
I wasn't at all sure that my father's old Canon Leica-fit lenses from the 1960's would work with a 21st century Panasonic Lumix GX80 micro 4/3 camera. Would focus-peaking work? Would the camera be happy with a completely manual lens? As it worked out there were no problems at all with the camera/lens combination. Just with my brain having to go back in time to remember that everything had to be set by me before taking a shot. But it was interesting and produced reasonable results. The GX80's focus-peaking worked well to help tighten up the shots. So now I have 35mm and 135mm prime lenses to add to my toolkit of 100-300mm zoom. The adapter is well-made and fits perfectly with no looseness. Very good value, I would say!
