PUMA Men's Drift Cat 5 Leather Sneaker

I've been buying Puma's of a similar style to this for years, and I've always really liked them when the fit was right, however, Puma has little regard to keeping the same size (number) the same physical size. I have three pairs of the exact same shoe (Speed Cats) in two different sizes(12 and 13) because of differences in size within the same model. I don't know why it is so difficult to manufacture shoes to the same physical size, but apparently it is.Anyway, I returned them for the next size up, but there is no exchange option (slightly annoying since all I want is a different size). I would hope that the same price will be honored, but since this is no longer my first purchase of shoes and accessories I fear I won't get the same 20% discount which is very poor for customer relations. I hope Amazon cares for their customers.All said, I think that the shoe looks very good, and I would highly recommend them as long as you try them on before you purchase them.

My favorite Pumas yet.I always buy white pumas with a black stripe. These particular Pumas have a very sleek and fashionable look. The synthetic leather is easy to clean and stays crisp pearly white. Comfort is average but I don't buy them for superior comfort, I buy them for the versatility. You can wear these anywhere because while they may be technically athletic they are very fashionable and look sharp when they're clean. If you are an adult that cares about how they look then you probably wear pants that fit you right. These shoes will look great with pants that fit well. Baggy pants will not work for this product and they actually probably won't work for your lifestyle either. This isn't 1995. :)My only knock is the fact that there is no extra 'rubber' on the underneath/front of the toe and that part gets a little best up. These shoes are great quality and comfortable. I read a lot of reviews saying that the shoes are narrow and that you should buy the shoes either a 1/2 or full sizer larger than what you normally wear. I bought one a 1/2 size larger and although at first it seemed tight, after wearing it out and about for a few days the shoes became quite comfortable.In terms of construction, the outside is a sturdy leather that I think will really help these shoes last long. The only thing I didn't really like was the sole of the shoe. It is extremely thin, which, although it allows the shoe to be really light, it also makes the shoe more easy to be worn down. Other than that, however, I really love these shoes!

My Sweetheart received his shoes but somehow just fit on his foot.He's wearing size 9 US and that's what we bought but the fit just exactly on his toe so we should have bought 9 1/2 US.I have read the reviews but I was just not decided to get the half size larger.When you are planning to purchase this, you should have bought 1/2 size larger than your usual size as it is narrow shoes.But he likes it anyway. In time he said once it stretched it will well fit on his foot.His a Puma loyal so he likes it and of course its my precious gift to him so he definitely likes it :)So I advise you to buy 1/2 size bigger than your size.

I use these shoes for practicing martial arts (Bagua, Cha Quan, and Chang Quan mostly) and they are awesome. I can turn easily on almost any surface but have great traction. The sole is soft enough that using them when sparring isn't a problem and they are really comfortable. The only reason it's not a 5 star in my mind is the sole of the shoe is a little bit small on the outside and inside edges of the foot, which can make balancing on one leg just slightly harder if I shift weight at all. If you aren't using this shoe for those sorts of position, you'll never notice. I know a lot of people are saying these are small shoes, and admittedly they are somewhat narrow, but the length is fine.

I read the reviews, so was able to anticipate that these shoes run small. For a woman, I have a big feet (I'm also pretty tall). I wear a men's 9.5 - 10 (depending on fit), so I ordered a 10.5. The shoes came very quickly, and I took a look at them, and thought... "never gonna fit". But I figured, I'd give them a shot. They fit like a glove! Break in period was about 10 minutes (not kidding!). Not only do they run a smidge small, but they make your feet look smaller too, which is always a plus for us big-footed women. My only complaint, is that I then came back to buy a second pair, and the price had jumped $20 in just a week. I'm now waiting for the price to drop, so I can get my second pair.

Overall great shoe. I ignored the reviews and got exactly my size (12 USA) and have to agree that they are somewhat 'tight', especially around the toes. For the first month, my toes would get sore after wearing for an extended period of time, but eventually the shoes got 'broken in'. They look awesome, and are versatile enough that I can wear them at the gym and at the office. Great build quality-- the leather near the toes is starting to wear a bit, but at this rate I can expect at least another year out of them. Would be great for soccer but they don't have much tread and will get soaked if it's raining/muddy.
