I was in need of a large bag that could hold a ton of stuff while still looking attractive and professional. After searching for a few days, I decided to go with this bag and so far I'm really loving it. It does have an interesting leather smell, not the same as traditionally tanned cow leather for sure (from someone who has been around tons of leather their entire life). This smell might turn some people off but if you are concerned about it add some quality leather conditioner to your cart with this bag, condition it once it arrives (if you like the product) and boom... problem solved. It's actually better to keep leather conditioned anyways, so you're now one step ahead in maintaining your new bag. I inspected all the stitches and fixtures before loading my stuff into it and found all the stitchwork to be excellent.This bag can hold a ton of stuff. I have a huge laptop, iPad in protective case, Royal Kludge keyboard in a protective case, two notepads, a spiral bound calendar, laptop charger, a soft (notebook style) charge cord organizer with several chargers in it, keyboard accessories, a small bluetooth speaker, a pencil pouch of pens/pencils, and a few other small misc. items all packed in this bag with a bit of room to spare. Yes, it is heavy, but the backpack strap allows me to carry all this necessary work stuff with ease. The only downside I experienced is the need to clean the hardware (the rings, buckles, snaps) before use as they are a bit sticky but no big deal. For the price and quality, I'm not sure it can be beat. I look forward to using this bag for YEARS to come.The only thing I would change is for it to have two backpack straps instead of one big strap that converts to shoulder strap or backpack straps. If I ever decide I would prefer the two straps for sure, I'll just buy a couple of leather straps somewhere and add them myself.

This is hands down the BEST bag I’ve ever had. The company doesn’t do this backpack any justice with it’s advertisement so I’m going to help them out here. It’s made of good quality leather doesn’t have a bad smell like some people have said, has 4 straped pockets plus one zipper pocket on the outside, the main closure for the backpack is a buckle plus clasp closure so you don’t always have to unbuckle it to open. Now here was my main concern when I ordered it was the inside space. It has three plus one zipper pockets and a space to hold up to four pens. (see pics) so plenty of room for what ever you want to carry. I packed mine with clothes for a couple of days to give it the form I wanted, it also came with this nice leather bound note pad an extra the company doesn’t tell you about. . The shipper shipped it really fast I received it days earlier than what was originally scheduled I’ll definitely order from this company again.UPDATE 4/8/23: I’ve had this backpack/travel bag since Dec. 2022 have traveled with it a lot and again I will say NOT!!! to pay attention to the oh so many reviews that complain about it having a bad smell. They really aren’t use to what real leather smells like., a smell that I love and can smell all day long. This bag is very durable, well built, with great craftsmanship, it has various of ways to carry it I would suggest that you watch the video on Amazon as to how to use it as a backpack. When I ordered it and it was delivered I had totally forgotten how to set it up as a backpack which is only one of the many ways that I carry this bag.

I love this backpack, good material, well done, the only issue is the strap… if you are going to use like back pack the straps are really uncomfortable, they hurt and they keep moving so is not exactly practical. But the bag is great.

I got SO MANY compliments on this bag... I have a 17 in hp laptop and it fit comfortably, with space, in tye bag along with other items. I went on a trip and was able to put my travel toiletries along with my wallet, chargers for my 2 phones and the laptop charger. My only draw back is the way the strap for my back works,other than that it's a worthwhile purchase,for me.The bag is sturdy, the material is smooth and beautiful (it needs o be oiled occasionally), it's able to hold a quite a few things and the bag is deeeeep!!!

The bag is stunning. My dream bag. But it unfortunately broke the first day I used it. The clasp that the main pouch buckles into came unnattached from the holes in the leather the first time I unbuckled it. Then when I went to put it back through the holes, the prongs that it secures with were so thin and brittle they simply broke off. So though the bag is brand new, it won’t close anymore. I ordered it for a trip I leave for in a few days. Bummer. Again, it is a stunning bag. But very frustrating.

The media could not be loaded. The look of this bag is beautiful in every way! The bag itself is very thick, leather, and appears to be durable. My only issue is the metal loop that connects to the strap when used as a sling bag is attached with very thin leather (see the video). I wonder how long this will last before that thin leather breaks, especially when loaded with a computer and other items. Otherwise, it is a beautiful bag.

Good thick leather and strong stitch construction. When straps are hooked up in backpack configuration, they are too long. Even using adjustment buckles to take up all the slack does not help. I will have to cut straps shorter and fix with new rivets.Also small latch that holds the big cover flap down is useless! When the bag is picked up by the top handle, the latch just comes open.

It was very smelly and the leather was not of great quality (maybe it's goat leather?). The contruction was okay but overall it seemed a bit cheap. It did fit an xps17 laptop, but I went with a Tomtoc bag and am happy now.
