I use similar size vortex crossfire at work and they are clearer than these... But they are also twice the price. I also have Nikon 10x50 and in normal afternoon light, there is a difference, but not a huge difference. The binoculars I'm comparing are near double the price and I don't feel like the difference in cost is even slightly justified, I think maybe the brand names are getting a bit cocky and need to step down a peg or two because for $90 these Eyeskey binoculars are fantastic. Performance for cost is quite high at the $89 pricetag. Though they may be ever so slightly heavier than the crossfire vortex 10x42 but are roughly the same size in volume. These can also be adapted to a vortex tripod easily that I have for my spotting scope.

My 8-yr old uses these for bird watching. Fun pink color! Sharp focus allows us to see details in bird feathers from far away!

I love these with one important caveat. The lenses are superb, and when all is in focus and aligned and the lens caps have not accidentally closed off one eye, they are 5 stars and more.However, I use them for bird watching, so getting them trained on target quickly is very important. One second can be the difference between figuring out which warbler it is and wondering where it flew off to. Two things about these binocs make this tough. First, they have the attached lens caps, which can unintentionally and randomly flop into place and make one eye dark. Second, and more often, if they are not adjusted to the perfect width, within a millimeter or two. then you will only be looking through one eye. I wish I could say that you could set the width and lock it, but you can't. So the odds of having one or both of these issues when you raise your binocs at the crucial moment are higher than I prefer. I have taken steps to avoid these two issues, and that is working well, so I do really like them. But I wish I didn't have to be so careful. Hence the 4 stars.I don't know what makes some binocs more forgiving than others in aligning to eyes, but I suspect it has to do with size of optics. That would mean a design tradeoff for weight vs ease of use. These are super light and great to carry for hours on end.

After reading reviews that were positive I ordered these for a gift for my husband. We spend at least three hours trying to focus them using instructions provided and did not have any luck. We were sent a replacement set and had the same problem. We could not focus the right eye and the lenses appeared hazy when we just looked through them. They came beautifully packaged and they have a great style. Easy to hold. Wanted to like them but they did not work out for us.

Great purchase for the price, super clear easy to focus. Great for bird watching from my deck.
