Exactly as described. Perfect for a part time (camping in my case) grill. No complaints here!

Functional
The grill is easy to assemble and well built for the price point but not very well designed. The lower grate is too close to the bottom thus restricting air flow to the charcoal stack, even with both vents fully open. It becomes worse as the charcoal turns to ash and collects below the grate so it's difficult to maintain a hot enough flame for grilling thick meats like chicken breasts. I drilled several 1/2 inch holes in the bottom and attached an ash catch tray underneath to solve the problem but in doing so breeched the ceramic coating which will shorten the lifespan due to corrosion of the exposed steel.

Best starter grill ever
Great beginner/starter grill. I got this grill from Walmart back in 2020. Super durable (lasting me 6 years), and massive bang for you buck (got mine for $23 in 2020). I used it initially only every once in a while for grilling brats, burgers, steak, and also on my camping trips. I quickly fell in love with grilling; and after the first year of owning this grill, I began to use it about 3 times per week. Over the last 6 years I've used this grill more than my oven and microwave combined and it's done amazingly well. I even learned how to smoke brisket, pork butt, and ribs on this grill. I'm now upgraded to a 22" Weber, but this little guy is the best darn grill to learn on in my honest opinion. Also big tip, use the pyramid method when starting the charcoal with this grill with both bottom vents completely open. Tumbleweeds or weber lighter cubes work the best, lighter fluid does not work well with this grill! Let it go like that for 15-30 min, and it'll be ready for some grilling!

Got this at Walmart for less. The grill doesn't stay lit. No matter what name brand charcoal you use. No ventilation it smothers out.

Cheap, but it works.
For the money, you can't get any better. The charcoal and grilling grates are much better than I expected. Dollar stores can work just fine, but this grill can last a lot longer if you take care of it. Lid can't be attached to the body, so that is a downside. Easy to assemble, and the parts are actually of decent quality. For one or two people, it will roast up what you need.
