Amazing hat. I have an Extreme sensitivity to light, and being out in sunlight has been so challenging for me. Buying these hats were a little bit of a game changer, from what I have experience so far. I got both the black and polkadot one and the beige with the flowers. I don’t like the look of the beige with the flowers, unfortunately, but it serves as my backup and when I’m feeling especially frivolous and don’t care or it tends to match much better what I’m wearing I guess.The black polkadot one is really cute, surprisingly, and I’ve received a couple of compliments on it.I’m not a big fan of the large buttons on the hat, but I do love the idea of having two hats and one in case I ever do want to wear the bucket hat :-). Also, it does come with a chinstrap but because I am not a practical person I have no idea how to fix it… It doesn’t seem like any obvious threading or loop to put it through. I’ll get a friend to help me figure it out and then I’ll be fine with it, but just some thing to note if you’re not handy with practical things like me (we have many other skills!)The hugeness of the hat does make it a bit awkward at times, getting into cars and what not, and you will also get some looks.. haha. I definitely don’t feel like I am fashionista rolling out the red carpet, but I still think it’s actually quite stylish and cute!More importantly, this is saving my eyes and my sanity and my brain and allowing me to go out in the sunlight on bright and sunny days with not a single cloud in the sky and I can actually walk around and be functional and even be OK with my sunglasses on! It’s amazing, and for that I would give it 10 stars alone. I would just order a different color next time than the beige.

I imagined the colors to be a bit more bright and the fabric to be a bit lighter. I recently moved to California and really needed a hat to wear to the beach as well as everyday sun protection. Although, my head began to sweat due to lack of ventilation. (My hair is short)I really like the adjustable rim. It was easy to fold and place into my backpack. Fun colorful hat.

I like that there is a wire in the big brim so I can shape the hat as I need it. If I'm in my lounge chair I can fold the back up or if I'm in the garden I bend the front up! If I'm watching the kids at sports I only use the bucket hat within the bigger hat!Some people may want to iron out folds/ lines from shipping or storing, you can store the hats together- folded up.I like that there's a string so if the wind catches the hat it won't fly away and if I push my hat back off my head for a drink if water, it just hangs on my back.And it's reversible for your mood- plain or boisterous with flowers!I love it and will likely get others in other color ways.

This hat is simply adorable on and the coverage is great, BUT,1. It's difficult to keep the two brims snug together it is obviously taped or glued in the photo as the inner brim does not sit flush with the outer one.2. In a slight breeze the outer brim blows upward separating it from the inner brim.3.keeping the wire in the brim smooth, is tough. It constantly needs reshaping.4. (this is not a deal breaker) It requires A Lot of steaming to remove the wrinkles.The colors are great, the canvas is heavy and the chin strap is useful in light breezy conditions.I like it enough I will buy another color.

I like this convert-able hat with hidden wire to frame the hat according to your style. It will take me to different places. I can use it by the beach, or convert it into the smaller size when I travel to Angkor Wat temples next week, smaller brim is perfect for a cloudy day. Pack flat into a big zip lock bag & crash able in luggage!!! The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is because i hate the loud prints inside, I don't mind small prints but the big red flowers is very distracting to me, especially when taking pics. I have covered the big red flower prints by painting liquid-paper (when you make a mistakes on a paper), I have also covered the big red flowers in blue acrylic paints to reduce the red flowers, as I NEVER wear any red. I hope they should consider making a solid color in khaki inside, it would definitely became my fav hat if they just make both sides in solid light colors but not pink. The hats come in navy & black I think, but your head became hotter when you are under the hot sun since it absorb heat. Therefore I bought the cream color.

1). The band on this hat fit perfectly against my head (not too tight, or to loose)2). The hat has a couple of options: a). Small hat, with moderate brim. This option gives you plenty of mobility to be active (beach volleyball, running, tennis, etc) - with this option, the are beautiful gold buttons which go around the outer band of the hat, and compliment the look b). Large hat, with wide brim. This option gives you lots of coverage for the sun, and would be great for lounging, walking, etc. - with this option, the beautiful gold buttons are still visible, but with the large brim, you don't really notice them c). There is a chin strap that hooks onto the inside of the hat (located on each side), with an adjustment slide - the chin strap would be great while on the water...don't want to loose the hat3). The inside lining is true to the pictures, with respect to deep rich colors.4). Both outer/under fabric is made of high quality material. a). The outer fabric would seem to be water repellent, as well as, provide SPF protection5). The brim has flexible wiring/tubing within the outer edge seam which allow you to form the brim as you wish, then it holds the shape. a). For the large hat option, this is especially fantastic!!!I love this hat!!
