The media could not be loaded. Wigs have come along way since I last wore one in the 90s! Silky, shiny, and plenty thick. The product pic doesn't do it justice. Easy to put on, fairly light and I didn't feel like it was falling off or too tight. Combed my fingers through it and it smoothed right out with just a few stray hairs. Has a nice body wave and felt more like real hair than I expected. Long... down past my waist. I plan to wear it for Halloween so I can't attest to wearability until its showtime but it seems to be fairly sturdy and the lace was stretchy enough to fit over a giant bun in the back. I didn't expect it to be this nice, so I'm pretty pleased with it so far!

For the price, this is a five-star wig. However, overall, I'd have to give it four stars.The purple color is gorgeous, I got lots of compliments, and the price is right.There's also lots of long hair...but at certain places on the scalp when you move the bangs around, the cap is definitely noticeable. (I reminded myself it was a $12 wig.) And I felt like it really needs either more styling or a haircut--even straight from the bag I could not get the bangs to lay like the show in the photo--I tried it to the left and to the right and then parted down the center and tucked behind my ears and nothing really felt right and I was pushing bangs out of my face all night. (Again, I reminded myself it was a $12 wig.) If I was going to wear it more often than once a year on Halloween, I would definitely get it cut or styled to avoid that issue.Along those same lines, once you take it out of the bag, forget it looking like the photo. I actually took it out one time before Halloween just to take a quick look to make sure it would work (and to check out how to put it on) and then folded it in half and layed it on a shelf...and when I went to wear it, it was messy (definitely not the perfect spiral curls you see in the stock photo)--not destroyed, but it looked a bit bed-headish. (Again, it's a $12 wig.) I've posted a picture of the back of the wig after one 4-hour wearing and just trying to carry it around, put it on, and set it somewhere for safekeeping.So overall I was completely happy with my purchase, but I just can't quite give it five stars.

MOST AWESOME WIG!!! Unfortunately, my 5 and 1/2 year old stole it for herself as 'Ariel' for Halloween. It was LONG, but she didn't care at all. It isn't real heavy at all. ZERO complaints, and she does like to complain, so that speaks volumes. She went through a full day of school with it on, and several parties aside from Halloween. So, As good as I looked in it, her Disney Ariel wig never got worn, and she stole my long locks, lol. I couldn't be the same color and wig so I had to go different (style/ color), so I was envious. It stood up to A LOT!!! I used some wig luster on it at the very end, and it was good as new. Great for costume, cosplay, fun, etc.!!!!!! WELL worth the price. (Coming from someone with hairloss who has bought both synthetic and human hair pieces and full wigs for 16 years!) A great deal!PS- Pics are after wear #4

Given the many reviews stating that the color was not true to the photo, I was pleasantly surprised (and extremely relieved) that my wig's color was relatively true to the photo.This was my first experience with a wig since I was around 6 years old, and the lack of care instructions or even instructions on how to put it on caused some confusion. I read some reviews for other wigs and found that the most comfortable way for me to put it on was to put my hair in a low bun, throw the wig on, and get the bun under the "net" that holds the wig together (note, this did not come with a cap). I then fastened the clasps in the hopes that that would help the wig stay in place, and so far it has. It is a bit itchy, especially when I first put it on, but it's not unbearable.The bangs are much longer than depicted in the photo (at least chin length) but I have taken to pinning them with a bobby pin. I may or may not opt to trim them for Halloween, as I'm using them for a Phoenix costume.My biggest complaint has to be how thin the wig is. It is really sparsely "haired," for lack of a better word, and the net is clearly visible on the crown of the head. I really wish it were as full as the picture depicted. Additionally, the wig gets really tangled, really fast, and it is difficult to get the knots out without losing significant amount of hair in the process, even when combing through it with my fingers rather than a brush. I think I'll just delicately comb through it with my fingers, and leave the worst knots in there as part of the "crazed" look.Yes, you get what you pay for, but I do really wish the wig hadn't been so thin; it would have made the purchase far more worth it.Update: after only 4 days of having it, without using it in those 4 days since receiving it, the wig looks much worse in terms of net visibility and how tangled it is. Not sure how this happened, since I literally did not touch it for several days.

It's nice, but it has bangs! The photo shows no bangs. So, only 3 stars.

Tangles very easily. It is like a one time use. Second time will be all tangled. :(
