This window unit is absolutely perfect for smaller rooms! It has a compact design that doesn't look bulky or eyesore-ish in the window. Despite its smaller size, it cools down the space incredibly fast and runs quietly enough that it doesn't disturb my sleep. It was super easy to install, and the controls are very straightforward to use. If you need an efficient, space-saving cooling solution for a bedroom or small office, I highly recommend this one!

We really love this window unit. We have it in our bedroom and it's very quiet and it cools the room quite well..... Bonus that the LED lights can be turned off with the remote.

So this product does do what it's supposed to do and that's cool my room very well. It was relatively easy to install, I put it together with the manual and installed it myself in a few minutes. Took at little while to get used to the settings but I eventually figured it out. It has a high/low fan setting and a high/low cool setting on one knob, as well as a separate knob for how much cooling you want the unit to do (you can choose between 1-7). I've closed my door and windows and set it to high cool and the max cool setting (7), and my room temperature went from 81 degrees to 73 degrees in about 45 minutes (photos attached). On the same settings I think I went from 84 to as low as 66 after probably 2 hours a few days before writing this review. Also, my room is pretty much a square. I believe the walls are all 12 ft long and 8 ft high. Definitely measure your room to make sure you're getting the right size AC for it. This unit says it cools up to 150sq ft, so measure the length of 2 walls and multiply them to get your square footage. Mine are all 12ft long so 12*12 = 144sq ft. Depending on the temperature outside I either keep my 2nd window closed if it's the same temperature or hotter outside or I might open it if it's cooler outside. If it is cooler outside than it is inside (like at night) then you can just turn on the fan, which I believe will push fresh cool air from outside to the inside of your room instead of running the AC's cooling unit. I use my phone to check the outside temperature and then have a cheap battery operated thermometer that sits on my desk inside my room to tell me the inside temperature. I've attached a video so you can see and hear the unit for yourself. Only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because of the noise. It's doesn't make a whiny noise nor does it sound like anything is mechanically wrong or broken, it's just that the fan is louder than I expected, even for the lower setting. I kind of wish it had one more setting where the fan was running at about half it's current lowest setting to maybe cut down on noise a bit more. But it's nice that I can crank it to high cool and the max cool setting and close the door/windows and leave the room for a bit, then when I come back I can turn the fan and settings down for a bit and be nice and cool. Sometimes it gets so much cooler that I even have to throw on a hoodie. One more note: I also run a gaming pc in my room which drastically affects the temperature, so these newer temps with the AC are while my pc is on and running. Without that the AC unit probably can cool a room of a similar size even easier. But again, other than the loudness of the fan it does work very well.

Works great so far. We've had it for several months. It does leak a TON of condensation (in very humid South Texas), so you'll need something under it outside. We just put a plant pot, and that looks/works fine. As for cooling, it makes our living area cold when it's 90°+ outside, so I'd say it works. It's not going to cool a whole house though. We have one in the living area, one in a bedroom, and we need one in another bedroom at the other end of the house. Three would keep a 3 bed house cold.

Air conditioner cools the whole house. Quiet and for the price and delivery ya can’t beat it!

I needed an AC for a small (about 100sq ft) room with a small window -- about 21 inches. I really wanted something quiet, and I bought one of the quiet GEs, but I couldn't fit it in the window. This easily fit in the window and could probably fit into a 17 inch window. I'm just using one of the side panels. I bought this unit because it claimed to be quieter than a household refrigerator. Hah! That's just a bald faced lie. It is no quieter than an average 5000 BTU air conditioner. FWIW, I put the GE unit in a different location and it is quiet as a mouse. You get what you pay for. This is bare bones, no frills. No remote, no thermometer. I give it 4 stars because it works well and the price is fine. I've had it for a year. Even when the weather is 90 degrees and more, it cools the room on low cool. I took 1 star off because it's not as quiet as they claim.

Je suis très satisfaite de cet air climatisé. Je l'utilise dans un appartement 5 1/2, et avec des ventilateurs bien placés, j'arrive à garder une température agréable partout. Il est installé dans la cuisine et le matin on y gèle. Alors je suppose que dans une chambre, il serait très efficace! Il est bruyant, mais je considère que pour un air climatisé de fenêtre, il est normal. ATTENTION, il est fait pour une fenêtre à guillotine. Alors il faut être certain qu'il soit bien soutenu si jamais c'est dans une autre sorte de fenêtre.

As described in the videos showns. When ON air conditioning low mode, the noise is tolerable. Works great!
