I used this to stain my white new balance sneakers. I used graphite and they came out perfectly grey like the lead of a pencil.

I didn't add soap like the instruction read. I poured the dye. I heated water but not to boiling point. I removed from stove and poured into plastic container big enough to lay the Pinlock insert flat. I placed Pinlock insert in water for about 20 seconds and removed, rinsed with cold water. I repeated this until I got the shade I wanted. I don't recommend leaving for longer times as Pinlock inserts have a thin film which is what absorbs the moisture from your breath. If you leave to long the film can wrinkle and peel off. If the shield warps a bit, no worries. It'll straighten out when you pin it to your shield. Crystal clear effect!

Every is just like pictured but there is more gloves

Bought to dye a polyester navy shirt black and followed all directions and it’s still navy. Didn’t work at all.

My pants are the same faded gray b4 I dyed them black. It didn't work.
