I believe that this item is solid, heavy, and beautiful for the value. However, it was very cumbersome and time-consuming to put together without the proper tools. It was missing a few washers needed to go with the screws. I think I remember reading another review about missing parts or pieces. The instructions do not adequately highlight the tools needed either. It was difficult screwing the top of the counter on because of the need to do so under the narrow top shelf. Difficult to place a standard drill or ratchet screwdriver. Otherwise you would need serious physical strength to manually screw these screws in upside down with a mini screwdriver. Ugh! In the end, one of the doors was hard to shut while the other would not stay closed. I have to rig it a little to suit me. Also the back flat panels do not line up well with screw holes leaving a slight open gap in the back. I will hide it with some books or something. Otherwise, you get what you pay for. Its still a nice sturdy piece to have. I recommend it for those on a budget but able have the tools and strength to assemble furniture with ease. For me, I would not buy again.

Pros:-For the price, it is extremely sturdy and looks great. I got this when it was on sale, so I only paid around $70-It has plenty of storage, it easily fits my Xbox, cable box, router, modem and dvd’s- the wood it’s self seems durable. I accidentally banged something against it after I built it, and it did not leave a markCons:- like others have mentioned, assembly can be challenging. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A DRILL WHEN YOU ASSEMBLE IT! I only had a tiny screwdriver, so it took me over 2 hours to build-the fact that the instructions were only pictures, and not written, cause me to be slightly confused at certain steps.- some of the pre drilled holes were not exactly in the right placeOverall, this is an excelled piece of furniture, especially for the price. If the instructions were a little more clear, it would be perfect

I absolutely love this entertainment center! It looks fantastic and everything I have in it fits so perfectly. Definitely feels pretty sturdy. I have no complaints but if I could change one thing, I'd want 2 holes in the back of each section with the shelf and doors instead of just the one in the center. As long as the shelf is in the center, there is enough room for wires from the top and bottom shelf but if you move the shelf, it covers too much of it one way or the other and you'll only be able to fit wires through either the top or bottom. It would be simple enough to cut a second hole. Other reviews are absolutely correct that screwing the top on is a bit of a chore. Other than that, it's pretty easy to put together. I absolutely recommend this one!

Followed the directions perfectly and got to where you attach the top...The space you had to screw in the screws is soooo small that there is absolutely no way to fit a drill or screw driver in there! Even if you have a small screw driver there is no way to get leverage and the holes are not predrilled so it's impossible to attach. We were left with the option to take it apart and attach it backwards of what the directions said or use wood glue instead of screws to attach the top which is what we went with. I love the way it looks, and it is very sturdy but that one thing was sooooo frustrating!!!

I paid $154 for this in June, and was going to order a second one but now it is up to $200. Just know that the price on this does fluctuate and you may be able to get a good deal on this depending on your timing.The only tricky part of assembly was putting the top piece on and screwing it in. If you follow the assembly order in the manual, I guess they expect you to have a VERY short screw driver.

I got this item at an amazing price and wasn’t sure what to expect. It is super sturdy and I am very happy with how it looks and feels. Everything is high quality. I assembled this mostly by myself, except for asking for my husbands help in flipping and moving it. I did use an impact drill for most of the assembly which made it go much quicker. In the step to attach the top most shelf that the tv sits on I used a ratcheting screw driver, otherwise I would have never been able to tighten the screws all the way. One of the doors had to be adjusted a little to get to open and close well. Very happy with how it looks, feels and the size.

I love the way the entertainment center looks all set up. It is on the shorter side but it looks great and feels sturdy. It was very easy to assemble until I got to the final few steps. When assembling the top piece, you have to have a very short Phillips head screwdriver and a wrench to be able to tighten the screws that’s secure it to the base. Other than this small issue, I absolutely love this piece!

we bought this item in mid april. Putting it together was a little...insane. Almost like the top should have been put on first before the middle shelf.Today way doing my weekly dusting I noticed that the one outer side is cracking, down the whole middle. I'm not sure what's going on, but I know we didnt over tighten anything.I really wonder if we could get a replacement or not.
