I purchased this first-grade workbook to incorporate some additional learning and practice into our homeschooling routine, and I'm so glad I did! It offers a great variety of activities and subjects, making it a wonderful way to reinforce what we're already learning. I love that it provides different types of practice rather than focusing on just one area, which helps keep learning interesting and engaging. It's a great supplemental resource for homeschooling, but I could also see it being useful for extra practice outside of a traditional classroom setting. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase! It's exactly the kind of additional learning material I was looking for, and I would definitely recommend it to other parents looking to give their first graders some extra practice at home.

This workbook has been a win in our house. The pages are colorful, simple to follow, and the activities feel more like little challenges than “homework,” so my kid doesn’t fight me on it. I like that it covers a bit of everything—reading, writing, math, and some critical thinking—so I can pull it out for 10–15 minutes after school or on weekends and feel like we actually did something meaningful. The directions are clear enough that my child can start most pages on their own, and the layout doesn’t feel overwhelming or crowded. The paper quality is decent for regular pencils and crayons, and there’s plenty of practice without feeling super repetitive. I see it more as extra reinforcement than a full curriculum, but as a parent it gives me an easy way to see where my child is strong and where they need more help. If you’ve got a 6–7 year old going into or already in first grade and you want something low-stress to keep skills sharp at home, this workbook is a great choice.

Nice combination of activities. This was purchased for a first grader as a review of materials she is learning in school. As I hoped, approximately 80% of the worksheets can be completed independently. With a little explanation the worksheets allow her to learn, re-learn or practice topics she didn't understand. If she continues to enjoy and utilize this book; I will probably purchase the next level.

Bought this for my 6 year old and had him work his way through it before first grade. A good variety of lessons and activities to keep your kid thinking during the summer months.

Great book for you kid going into the first grade. Plenty of pages of work and activities for them to work on during the summer or extra work during the school year. Easy for a dad to use to spend quality time with their little one, and build their confidence at the same time.
