I have a kenmore stove and they fit perfectly. I was so happy because Lowe’s was charging a piece for what these cost me for 4 from Amazon. Great buy. People complaining of them rocking but with the right drip trays these burner elements fit perfect for my stove. These elements are very well made and heat quickly and evenly. Quick delivery and easy to install.

Fit and works wonderfully

I bought these to replace one burner on an rental oven that I completely messed up. I placed a microwave cover on the stove completely forgetting that it was electric and smoldering hot. The cover completely melted all over a burner rendering it unusable and destroyed. I tried to find the exact same style which were three coils. I never realized that these burners have different amounts of coils (3,4,5 are typical). So, I ended up buying the four-coiled ones. They fit fine and, as per packaging, I turned on each burner for approximately 20 minutes to "burn off" the factory chemical smell. But what I did find that I wasn't thrilled about was how much hotter these burners burned then the three coiled ones. I could feel the heat on the back control panel of the oven. I was guess that could be a safety issue so made sure I was present the entire time and each time I cooked and would only run one or two burners at the same time to prevent the heat build up. If you're looking for replacement burners, keep that in mind. I know now for future reference. But in conclusion, these burners worked well, heated very hot so seem to be a good product. So, my decision to buy these was at no fault of the manufacturer or seller.

I bought these burners in hopes of replacing the ones on my old Maytag electric range. I wasn't having any big issues with my burners like I'm sure a lot of buyers are or will, but I did have one burner that was unusable because years ago my Pawpaw accidentally left a tea kettle on it and it ran out of water and melted onto the burner, ruining it and covering it in a thick layer of tar that would burn if you tried to turn it on. Thankfully these burners worked and worked extremely well as far as the actual heating elements go. There are just two major complaints that I have about them. First, there is a slightly green initial coating that must be burned off for probably about 15-20 minutes before they are usable, which lets off some pretty awful fumes. This wouldn't be terrible if you have a range hood, but since I don't, I'd have to open all the doors and windows in the house and run a fan in the kitchen to circulate the air in the house. From my understanding this is possibly a standard thing with new burners, but it would have been nice to have clear instructions. I did believe that I had finished burning the coating off once or twice initially only to realize it while cooking that I hadn't. Thankfully, by the time I finished cooking it was indeed solidly gone, but it's a definite one-star detraction from the product. I think a simple note coming with this product explaining this process would have saved it the star and the consumer a headache. Second, the burners don't quite sit level in the drip pans. I believe maybe I could fix this issue by replacing the support brace with the original ones from the burners that I kept, but those are fairly poor cosmetic condition, so it would feel like I'm defeating part of the purpose of buying new ones. This isn't really a huge issue, but it's a bit displeasing to not have your pans just sit level on the stove. Another option may be to slightly bend the support braces, but I'm not fond of products that I have to modify (i.e. risk breaking) in order to use them. This is another star detracted. Still, if you have burners that flat out just don't work and need them replaced, this DOES work, and it's a fairly inexpensive option, especially when considering just spending another fifteen dollars may or may not get you something any better. I feel comfortable giving this product three stars, although I'd certainly go higher if there were a bit more quality assurance.
