Arctic Cooling Accelero L2 Plus VGA Cooler ATI HD69XX 6XXX 5XXX 4xxx 3xxx and nVidia GTX 5XX 4XX

I installed this cooler to replace the stock one from my Sapphire 6870 (none-blower style) because the fan died.This cooler is 100% (2000RPM) gives the same temps as the stock cooler at 70-80% (2800-3300RPM) BUT, the noise levels are incomparable; the Arctic product does around 70% LESS NOISE, despite the fact that both use a single fan of the same size. Alas, the temperatures were a few degrees higher in GPU-Z albeit I feel more comfortable because of the VRAM heatsinks.My only issue was that the VRM heatsinks provided were not the proper size/shape for the VRM layout on this GPU so I left the stock one heatsink from the stock cooling solution with a slight modification; remove the thermal padding and replaced it with the insulation tape provided by Arctic and MX-2.So in conclusion, even though a 6870 is pretty much the highest card that Accelero L2 Plus is designed to cool is definitely worth it, especially for the price.
