Useful
I loved this book as when traveling WiFi is not always available and this little booked helped us out no end

Constant page turning
Although as usual the information is good you are constantly turning pages as everything is split into sections. So if you are in little Havanna you will need to find that place under restaurants then under hotels, things to do etc, it’s a constant page turner which makes this for hard reading. I love lonely planets and have loads of them but this layout was rather annoying.Keep to the standard format

Poor layout
I've used many Lonely Planet guides and have always been impressed but found Miami and the Keys very hard to follow. The flow through the book seems to jump around the area with no seeming flow.

Confusing
I’ve bought >100 guide books and this is THE most confusing book I’ve ever bought. The structure is incoherent and nothing makes sense. For example, I’m currently in the Downtown Miami section, yet the maps all relate to Miami Beach. The keys to each map are on different pages too, so you’ve to constantly jump back and forward.Expected much better from LP.

Best Book I've Found for the Area
I took three books on South Florida out of the library in order to decide which one to buy. This is the one I chose to purchase. The itineraries are very helpful, as are all of the maps with various sites pinpointed. It provides the necessary information in a succinct manner.

Redundant Entries of the same places to visit through out the book -
I purchased this book to read up on Miami and the Keys before my relocating to Miami. The book has some good points, but it is also very redundant. For example, every chapter mentions the fruit stand/ farmer's market "Robert is Here" almost once. And it is always the same with other points of interest as well in the book. Stone Crab is mentioned again and again as food to try while visiting Miami. Yet, the book doesn't tell you of the best or preferred restaurants to visit for stone crab, or arapes, or coffee, or much of anything. The phrase "Smell, Taste, Enjoy, and Indulge" is used. Which is a letdown. I have now been in Miami for a month now and this book is useless to me.
