I use a variety of Noga magnetic bases in machining operations and they have always worked reliably. I Don’t use any other type.

Purchased to replace old noga base that lasted for years until the switch broke.. on this new one the switch hangs up and sticks constantly.. this leads me to believe that it will break soon. The switch feels loose and sticks... with the quality of this i advise others to buy one of the $30 entire complete knock off bases and you will probably get the same quality or better

I don't know why there are so many negative reviews, as the one I got works perfectly. It was purchased to replace an ancient magnetic base, and I needed to drill and tap two holes in the top of the new one to attach the indicator holder. There was plenty of meat to tap into, and the magnet is about ten times stronger than the old one. Don't know how long it'll last, but for now, this has been money well spent.
