Washing machine drain pump went bad on Tuesday, had the new pump ordered on Tuesday, delivered, and installed on Thursday. It was a direct replacement for our LG front load washer. Back to washing!!!

I'm not in the line of work where disassembling a washing machine is my thing. Up front, I thought this was a 50-50 proposition, where out 8 years old washing machine with an error code was headed to the dump. Boy was I surprised. We had the LG 'OE' Error Code. I watched a YouTube video. It said to get the motor. I followed the disassembly and reassembly video. The machine is FIXED. The motor is GREAT. I needed a single Phillips head screw driver, two different pairs of pliers (adj. angle nose and regular), and the special tool to remove the gasket. It was relatively easy to do. You need to keep the screws organized by where they go. This motor saved us from buying a new washer. Great value. Fits great. Works great.

I bought a pair of this pump. Like other people that gave it a bad review, the propeller flew off by itself after a few months of use (about 2 loads a week) and it's now junk. We had nothing in the strainer chamber that would cause this problem, so it's just poorly made. My first pump in this order lasted for about 3 months. It's obviously a knock off because the original shroud for my LG Combo Washer/Dryer does not fit perfectly on this pump. I didn't mind that. You'll also notice that the noise of this pump is a bit louder than the original part or those made by Ashkoll. So I'm on my 2nd pump of the pair. I hope that lasts for years. It works as advertised, but I can't comment if the motor I received was defective and I'm already outside the warranty period and return periods for an exchange. I tried gluing back the propeller, but the force is obviously very strong that even glue didn't hold the head. Just FYI... if you bought one with a white body rather than a black body from elsewhere, you need to order a spare already because a knock off of a knock off truly did not last. I wanted an aftermarket pump because it's generally cheaper than a genuine one, and the reason is not because of the price. It's because people don't always remove things from their cloths and that alone with damage any pump. It would cost less for me to replace. In my entire history, I've had a total of 6 aftermarket pumps. 4 of them were from an online auction outlet and 2 here. I can tell you I won't go buy at another place because the packaging was pretty bad and I out of the 4, 2 came broken out of the box. At least on Amazon, there is a little more package protection during transit. Update: 5/26/2021 Now really upset both pumps broke. I don't want it even if it was a free replacement because changing it is an inconvenience.

My washing machine pump died 2 days ago so I ordered this as a replacement and I am so happy I did, it literally got here the next day. I watched a youtube video to see what I had to do, then tackled this job. It was not too hard to do, it might have took me 20 minutes going slowly, really a pretty simple procedure. The machine is draining faster than ever and getting the clothes cleaner, I am so happy with the outcome, fantastic pump for the price. I saved a bunch of money by doing it myself and not calling a repair man, I would recommend this pump to anyone in the same position.

Water wasn't draining and getting code 0E on my lg washer. So i ordered this part that Fits my lg washer WM3270CW replaced the part and it works

Product looks right, same size, plug n play. Works great. One note, hot and cold wires are not marked on this pump not the original, mark it when you remove the old one. Pump is moderately louder than original but functions fine and my drain is 4ft from the floor, pumps the drain water atleast that high with no issues. With the factory replacement unavailable thru LG, this will get us through, and hopefully will last as long as the original which was 4 years.

I purchased this pump to fix my 17 year old LG washer. It went in easy, no problems. Fit was good, no leaks. Bad news is it only lasted 1 year before it started acting up and not draining. If the original pump lasted 17 years, this one should have lasted at least a few years. I regularly drain and clean the filter next to the pump, so it's not user error or neglect. If I neglected maintenance the original would not have lasted as long as it did. Maybe I got a bad one. Time will tell. I just ordered another of this same pump and put it in and the washer works perfectly again, so it was definitely the pump. If will update if the new one craps out too soon. Will not buy this again if the new one dies. Not a good value for my money or my time. I really do not enjoy taking the washer apart.
