BEMIS 1800EC 000 Plastic Toilet Seat with Easy Clean & Change Hinges, ELONGATED, White

The Bemis toilet seat 800EC 000 plastic round toilet seat is as advertised. It is very easy to install and remove for cleaning purposes. The toilet seat is plastic yet very sturdy and well made, unlike a lot of the plastic toilet seats currently available at Home Depots and Lowes. The new plastic toilet seats are made of plastic and are made very flimsy. The newer plastic toilet seats use less plastic on the toilet seat thickness to reduce material costs and try to increase the rigidity of the toilet seat by making ridges around the toilet seat. Unfortunately, the plastic thickness of the toilet seat with the ridges is too flimsy and the toilet seat creaks and flexes. If you are light, then the new toilet seat may work OK, but I weigh just over 200 pounds and the new toilet seats are terrible. If you want a sturdy and well made toilet seat which is durable and safe for anyone regardless of their weight, then the Bemis 800EC 000 is the toilet seat for you.

Nobody every thinks they will be reviewing a toilet seat of all things .. .but after buying and using my new Bemis plastic seat I had to write a review. Our kids are all grown and have left home and so remodeling their shared bathroom was my first priority. Time for Mom to have her own bathroom at last ! After spending years trying to clean their old wooden toilet seats and having to replace them more times than I can count, plus noting how really hard and uncomfortable they can be, I opted to try this plastic one. It arrived earlier than expected and I was actually surprised how easy it was to install .. did it myself (to the hubby's surprise) . It's not only pretty to look at but it is so easy to clean now. Why did we not invest in one of these sooner ?! I spent hours and hours trying to keep those old wood seats clean when this new one cleans up in no time. The kids and their families still use this bathroom when they visit so it's not only me using the seat and all of them initially laughed at the plastic seat until they used it .. and one went home and replaced her seats with this identical one. This seat is comfy .. I am a large size woman and this seat has to be the most comfortable I've ever used. So nice that I replaced all the other toilet seats in our house with similar Bemis plastic seats so now all of us have a comfortable "throne" for use. Highly recommend .. my only tiny complaint is that this particular seat is not a slow close model. Not a problem as it's not in our main bath, did replace that one with a Bemis soft close model and the grandkids now want to use that one so they can see the seat slowly close by itself. Great item ... highly recommend.

Kind of a funny thing to review but I needed a replacement seat and this is a really nice toilet seat it looks really good I can tell it's going to be nice and easy to clean since it's not molded wood it's seems to be sturdier than my old plastic one. It doesn't have quite as much of a contour for where you sit but it actually feels like it might hold up a lot longer and be less likely to Warp. and I literally installed it within 4 minutes very very easy. Hopefully it holds up through time Update: I I've taken off one star because when I sit on top of the closed seat it feels flexible not very sturdy also I do like the way it installs but I'm not sure that it will keeping tight because if you shifted ar all on the seat it loosens up a little so I'm not sure that it will last long time but it's pretty good for now.

Needed a replacement. I prefer plastic as I feel it is more sanitary and holds up better than "coated wood". It is difficult to find this color and material from my local big box store. I have bone colored bath fixtures and the local stores typically only offer white in their budget friendly seats. The price was slightly better than ordering from a big box store and the choice of colors a bonus. I will say, I ordered the wrong color based on the selections given (appearance of color on the computer) but that was my fault and not worth sending back for the correct color (it's a toilet seat for Pete's sake!!!) If you are looking for true bone color then buy the "Bisque" option. I bought the Linen and it is slightly lighter than my toilet, but as I said, no problem as it's a toilet seat!!!! I will know next time I have to buy one! Very easy to install and remove for cleaning. Great product!!

Our old toilet seat broke and I was in need of a new one asap. This was at my doorstep the next day, and was extremely easy to install (i'm a female and had no issue). They included all of the screws/bolts you needed. I was able to unscrew the old bolts, and throw them away since they provided new ones. Once my old seat was completely removed, it took less than 5 minutes to install. Afew tips to note: - This Is NOT a quiet close lid. When I close the lid it slams down. Kind of surprised me at first, but I'll get used to it. If you want a quiet closing lid, make sure you search their other models that say "quiet closing lid" - The little plastic screw piece that goes onto the bottom of the bolt (part #B), had a flap piece attached to it to make it easier to tighten by hand, but I ended up having to cut it off because it kept hitting the side of my toilet and wouldn't tighten. Easy fix, but figured I might give someone a heads up in case they run across this issue. Just cut it off and I promise you'll be able to tighten it down. - When you remove the old bolts from the toilet, there might be a little plastic anchor tubes on the inside that you need to pull out in order to fit the new screws. My toilet had that since the old screws were smaller. Once I removed the plastic piece on the inside, the bolts fit perfect.

The toilet was exactly as advertises but the inner circle is a little wider than our previous unit so it is not quite as comfortable. A some what greater radius at the edges would have helped. This unite was chosen as it was the closest to the previous unit. I was easy to install and the system allows for it to be released easier for cleaning.

amazon just finds ways to serve a purpose in the house. never thought i would be ordering a replacement toilet seat from prime, but i did, and it worked out great. all i had to do was verify the appropriate size for the toilet i have, and i was able to get the correct seat size. once the seat replace arrived, it was easy to follow the instructions and install. and this is coming from a guy that's pretty useless when it comes to basic home repairs lol.🤣 seat itself is good quality, thicker plastic then the old seat, and much more comfortable. def recommend to anyone who needs a seat replacement. 👍

The seat is good quality, comes with all needed fixings but it’s super heavy.
