Much Better Than Podiatrist-Recommended Arch Supports
These arch supports work better than you might think - years ago I followed a podiatrist's suggestion that I pay almost $400 for a pair of customized arch supports. As it turns out, I didn't wear them much because they didn't feel comfortable when I wore them inside my shoes, and I was annoyed that I'd have to buy bigger shoes just to make them fit better. I felt like I'd thrown a good chunk of change out the window. Now I saw these and decided to give them a chance. As it turns out, they work great - the cushion stopped my arches from hurting immediately. The only drawback is that they are made cheaply and wear out fairly quickly - but I'd rather pay $8 for 50 of these because I can wear them inside sneakers, dress shoes, and even sandals. However, make sure you buy the real thing - I've noticed there are a lot of cheap knockoffs out there. I bought the "real" ones from a retail store and was shocked at how much thicker they were than some of the online ones.

Great for fallen arches and heel pain!
I had bought these at the store several years back for myself and husband. We loved them! They took away our foot pain after many years of suffering. The few that we had got worn out and we could no longer find them anywhere. Then our foot pain came back and these were no where to be found until I thought to look for them on Amazon.com. Sure enough-there they were! I bought about 10 pair just to have because I knew how well they worked and that I would not be able to find them any where else. And the price was great too! I've given some to my friends and my mother who were all suffering with foot and heel pain. They love them too! I did notice though that some of them were a little tighter than others. I don't know why. I do have to remove the tighter ones after a little while because they become too uncomfortable. But the regular size ones are soooo comfortable that you can wear them all day and you forget that you even have them on.

comfortable LIFT that holds and supports gently
An injury to my foot caused an extremely painful calloused area to form just below my fourth and little toes in the soft pad area.. Walking was like stepping on a 'painful burn' and finding these brought the 'lift' I needed in my arch to take weight and pressure off this calloused area; hopefully that will help me 'soften' that area with ointments applied. The band around makes it stay in place well, and on my foot, it doesn't cause any swelling or discomfort. I DO place it on TOP of my socks if I wear socks, so that I don't have to struggle getting it on and off. With certain shoes, I use both supports, so that there is ample 'lift', placing one on either side to the center of my arched area. I'm going to order three more packs to be certain I have plenty on hand at all times!!!!

These are the best
I’ve used a few different kinds. These are a bit expensive for what they are, but there are by far the best - thickest cushion & cushion fabric, most durable band, most comfortable, best support. I have a few sets & put them all in the washer & dryer & they are fine. Good pain relief for me - When I don’t wear them, I feel it. I hope they work as well for you as they do for me. 👍🏼

Time will tell...
These are great for walking around the house without shoes. Give surprising comfort to my fallen arches in that way. However, it remains to be seen how they hold up. I have extremely wide feet, and very high insteps, and so it seems as though the stitching that hold the things together is being stretched to the limit. When I take them off, there is evidence that they are beginning to fall apart. Despite all that, they do not feel too tight, so whatever elasticity is designed into the 'strap' that goes around your foot is very good. The problem is where the strapping meets the pad that goes under your arch, That's the weak link in the chain. But two out of three ain't bad. My suggestion - one size shouldn't be trying to fit all. And for what they cost, compared to other orthotic products, you can afford to replace them when ever needed.

Lousy -
Do not waste your money. Back in October I started walking daily and my heal was really giving me problems. I bought these hoping it would fix the problem but they really hurt my feet. Wearing them with shoes they hurt my feet tremendously and wearing them barefoot around the house the piece does not stay in position. I had to keep pulling the piece back as it kept sliding up and down my foot. I called Amazon and they put me through to a customer service agent from Strutz Sole and the lady was rude to say the least and difficult to work with on the problem. While she tried to dismiss the Amazon Customer Service Agent from the conversation Amazon really stuck by me, his customer, and insisted on remaining for the whole conversation and really made me feel like he was there to protect me. I love Amazon - they really do stand by their customers. For any of you that have heal problems, I went to CVS Pharmacy and stood on one of those Dr. Scholl's machines. It was really neat - the machine looks at the shape of the bottom of your foot and can tell you which of their products would best suit your needs - That Dr. Scholls's insert was $50 but it cut down the pain tremendously, probably 95%. Well worth the money - If you don't have a CVS nearby, check out the dr. Scholls website and maybe they can tell you where you can find one of the machines in your area and it's free to use the machine. As for Amazon - they are the best and I am definitely a lifelong customer and will continue to support them.
